Went on to become a Doctor, lecturing in media theory at La Trobe
University, Victoria. Her research work focuses on carnival,
grotesqueries, myth in popular culture, advertising, and the
representation of women in contemporary media. She has also reviewed
film for radio 3LO's mid-morning programme.
