Nigel Thomas is an award winning producer, writer and director with credits on over 100 feature films and television shows which have garnered over 300 awards, nominations and festival selections including the Palme D'Or, Berlin Silver Bear, BAFTA and Cesar Awards. Having run the feature and TV production business Movie Screen Entertainment, in 1999 he founded Matador Pictures, which became one of the UK's leading independent production companies. Relocating to the US, in 2015 he co-founded Los Angeles-based Benattar Thomas Productions with partner Rick Benattar with the goal of creating innovative and commercially relevant film and TV projects across all budgets and genres, and together they have produced over 30 titles under this banner.
