Diana Tenes is a multi-talented and unique individual. She is a native Californian, and was born in San Jose and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. She started acting in junior high school, then became interested in Fashion and Costume design. Winning a full scholarship from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she moved to Los Angeles and earned her Associate Degree in Fashion Design. Diana has won awards for her Fashion Designs including the Black Filmmaker Hall of Fame/I.Peri -Outstanding Designer in the Bay Area, Excellence in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute, and a medal for from the Santa Clara County Fair for Jewelry Design. Continuing her studies at San Francisco State University, her interest in acting was rekindled when she designed costumes for the Chicano Theatre Department. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Art: Conceptual Design/Performance Art from San Francisco State.
Diana is an accomplished actress, working since 1994 in corporate videos, commercials and independent film. Diana made it to the Sundance Film Festival with "Everything Strange and New" that premiered there in 2009. She has continued to garner roles in independent films circulating at film festivals in United States: "Love in Absentia" as "Yvonne", and "Chocolates" as "Rosa". Diana worked with acclaimed Writer/Director H.P. Mendoza in his International Award winning film "I AM A Ghost." She was "Emily ll" and the key makeup artist.

Diana has dressed Hollywoods finest: including legends Cicely Tyson, Louise Fletcher, Lea DeLaria, and Julie Brown. Diana was a member of the Costume Designers Guild 892 for several years.
