Can you believe it’s been over 12 years since House ended?!
The Fox medical television show ended its run after eight seasons on the network, and after winning several awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and three Creative Arts Emmys.
Starring Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, Jesse Spencer, Lisa Edelstein, Jennifer Morrison, Peter Jacobson, Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Amber Tamblyn, Odette Annable and Charlyne Yi, the series focused on Dr. Gregory House (Laurie), who is devoid of anything resembling bedside manner and wouldn’t even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor.
While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts afford him widespread respect. An infectious disease specialist, House thrives on the challenge of...

Could we see the return of Brett and Casey in Chicago Fire? The showrunner has chimed in!
When Chicago Fire began, Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) was the top firefighter for the station and had a few romances. That included a marriage to Gabriela Dawson, which sadly ended in divorce. Luckily, Matt bounced back with a relationship with paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Kilmer).
The two went from friends to lovers, although it took a hit when Casey moved to Oregon to take care of newly adopted kids. However, he made a return to propose to Brett, who accepted. Their wedding wasn’t quite what either wanted as, thanks to snafus, it took place at, of all places, a store aquarium, but the two still went out with a big event surrounded by friends and family.
Could Brettsy make a return in Chicago Fire season 13?
Both Kilmer and Spencer left the show...

For 12 seasons, Chief Boden was the glue that held Firehouse 51 together. From the very beginning, Boden was one of the most important and beloved characters on Chicago Fire.
He was a leader who always looked out for the best interest of his firefighters and paramedics, and always had their backs when they found themselves in a tough situation. He was a fair leader who pushed his team to be the best they could be and mentored them so that they could learn from their mistakes and grow into the best versions of themselves.
Given how central of a role Boden played in the show, it felt impossible to imagine the show without him. Sadly, we’re now getting to see what the show looks like without Boden as he’s officially moved on from his Chief position at 51.
Here’s what happened to Chief Boden on Chicago Fire

Perth in 1979 served as the vivid backdrop to the intricate drama of Last Days of the Space Age. In this Western Australian city, momentous real-world events overlapped—a long-running labor dispute at the local power plant simmered as the Miss Universe pageant visited town. Meanwhile, the fate of NASA’s Skylab space station hung in the balance as it hurtled toward reentry.

The Bissetts found their marriage tested as financial stress mounted. Daughter Tilly nursed big dreams of becoming an astronaut despite discouragement. Neighbors like the Buis and Wilberforces also experienced their own ups and downs while navigating cultural clashes, gender issues, and social change.

The Chicago Fire cast introduced a surprise character during the season premiere.
Much of the episode dealt with the new chief at Firehouse 51 and his different leadership style.
Actor Dermot Mulroney plays Chief Dom Pascal, a mysterious new character within the One Chicago universe.
Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) left during the previous season finale, but the character still resides in Chicago. It’s possible that he could pop up now and then, much like how Jesse Spencer pops in and out as Matthew Casey.
Chief Pascal ushered in many changes at Firehouse 51 during that first episode, including chats after each call with his lieutenants.
As the season premiere wrapped up, Chief Pascal was shown arriving at home after an extended shift. He found the locks changed.
A window to the house opened, revealing the person we would later learn was Monica Pascal, his estranged wife.
Much more will come...

I know it doesn’t feel like 2004 was 20 years ago, but it was, which means many great TV shows just turned 20 years old.
Seriously, 2004 is a sneaky good year for new TV premieres. Most of the titles on this list of good TV shows turning 20 years old in 2024 were broadcast hits. The cable networks had a decent market share in the early 2000s, but we’re still a decade before the streaming industry changed the TV game.
At this point in TV history, we’re still seven years before the Game of Thrones premiere. Remember that, please!
Let’s get the list started with the best show of 2004!

House is celebrating its 20th anniversary this fall so what better time to check in on how old the cast of the Fox hit was then and now!
Premiering on Nov. 16, 2004, House centered around Gregory House, an absolute medical genius with a Sherlock Holmes ability to unravel medical mysteries that baffled other doctors. However, thanks to pain from a blood clot in his leg that had him relying on a cane, House was also an arrogant, selfish, cynical jerk insulting everyone around him.
The show became one of Fox's biggest hits of the decade, running eight seasons with Laurie earning two Golden Globes and several Emmy nominations. It also boosted many of its cast to future stardom. So how old were the actors then and now?

From the very beginning, Jesse Spencer has always been a key figure within the One Chicago fandom thanks to his starring role as 51 lieutenant turned captain Matt Casey. Across the first ten seasons of the show, Casey was a key character on Chicago Fire and was often at the forefront of some of the show’s biggest storylines.
Honestly, it’s fair to say that Chicago Fire might not have ever evolved into the show it has become today without Spencer and his character as he and Taylor Kinney were the faces of the franchise for many years and their characters were the biggest draws for the millions of fans tuning in weekly.
Casey was such an important part of the show, and fans were shocked when he announced his departure in season 10. Fortunately, he hasn’t been able to stay away from the show which has led to quite...

Chicago Fire Season 12 ended on an important storyline for firefighter Sam Carver.
A call early in the season finale had Firehouse 51 responding to a kitchen fire at a restaurant.
Upon responding to that call, Truck 81 discovered a domestic situation between a father and his two sons.
One of the sons had a bad burn on his arm but appeared scared and said he had spilled a pot of boiling water on himself as his brother and father tried to get the firefighters and paramedics to leave.
Stella Kidd tried to defuse the situation, but the father pushed her, leading to Carver and new firefighter Jack Damon (played by Michael Bradway) stepping in.
This was a callback to Carver’s past, where his brother had burned him, but his father wouldn’t believe him. Carver still has the scars.
A complaint was later filed, but not before Kidd went after Carver...

This is something happening to all the One Chicago shows, and here is what you need to know about this specific show.
Chicago Fire: Who Is Leaving In Season 13?
The biggest departure for Chicago Fire Season 13 is Eamonn Walker as Wallace Boden. While Boden is not leaving the series, he is stepping down as a regular cast member. Chicago Fire fans will see a new face at Firehouse 51 in the fall.
Battalion Chief Wallace Boden said his goodbyes during the Season 12 finale, opening the door for some fresh stories.
Boden felt he needed to take a higher position in the Chicago Fire Department to help the city, and that’s exactly what he did.
Actor Eamonn Walker takes a step back from being a series regular to play a character who appears sporadically.
Boden’s character treatment on Chicago Fire is similar to Matthew Casey (played by Jesse Spencer), who is off doing his own thing, but stories can intertwine later.
Chicago Fire fans will miss seeing Boden at Firehouse 51 every week, and change is hard. But that’s what happens on shows that last this long on television.

The company’s debut project is “True Noir: The Assassination of Anton Cermak,” a six-and-a-half-hour audio drama based on the Max Allan Collins novel “True Detective.” The ten-episode series is set in Chicago in 1932 and follows the murder of the city’s mayor while attending a Franklin Roosevelt campaign rally in Miami, Fla.
Burnett, who directs and produces “True Noir,” describes it as “a cinematic audio drama, combining traditional storytelling with modern production techniques.” The cast features more than 25 voice actors, including Jeffrey Combs (“The Frighteners”), Pj Byrne (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Jesse Spencer (“House”), Anthony Lapaglia (“Without a Trace”) and Katee Sackhoff (“Battlestar Galactica”).

Exclusive: NBC’s Chicago Fire will welcome a new chief when Season 13 premieres and it’s not who was teased in last season’s finale—they’re shaking things up.
No, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) will not be Boden’s (Eamonn Walker) successor for reasons as yet unknown. Sources close to production reveal that 51’s new chief Dom Pascal (which could change) will be an entirely new male character who began his career with the Cfd but spent the last decade as a chief in Sunny Miami. Dom is described as a cheerful person who works well under pressure, and whose leadership style differs from Boden’s. He and his wife are estranged. Casting for the series regular role is currently underway.
There’s been plenty of changes at the Firehouse of late, most recently with Walker departing as a series regular with plans to return in a recurring role in the future.

In June 2022, Jason Herbison was on set shooting what was to be the 8,903rd — and final — episode of “Neighbours,” an experience he admits was “very, very emotional.” The cult Australian soap opera — a show he first starting writing for after leaving high school in 1990 and came to oversee as its top exec producer — was coming to a tearful end.

The Chicago Fire cast has added another new face for Season 12.
It’s already been a season of change at Firehouse 51, and that continues with the next new episode.
Exits are happening frequently this season, beginning with Firefighter Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende) leaving Chicago in the season premiere.
Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) married Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and then moved to Portland. Her exit was a tough one for the fans.
New Paramedic Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh) dropped in for two episodes but wasn’t a good fit at the firehouse. Chief Boden sent him packing – a decision that could lead to repercussions later.
A new episode of Chicago Fire introduced another new paramedic. But she might stick around for a while, especially since Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) took a liking to her.
Here is the latest news on Jake Gibson (Rome Flynn).

Chicago Fire continues to shake up its cast as TV newcomer Michael Bradway (Marked Men) is set to join the NBC drama in a recurring role. As reported by Deadline, Bradway will play charming firefighter Jack Damon and is expected to make his first appearance in episode 10, airing next Wednesday, April 10. While the role is currently in a recurring capacity, Deadline reports he could potentially become a series regular next season. Bradway joins the show amid a series of casting changes. On Friday, March 29, it was reported that Acapulco actress Jocelyn Hudon has joined the cast in a recurring role as a new paramedic. These new hires come after the exits of Chicago Fire regulars Alberto Rosende (Gallo), who only appeared in the first episode of Season 12, and Kara Killmer (Sylvie), who departed on the February 28 episode to start a new life in Portland, Oregon, with her new husband, Jesse Spencer’s Matt Casey.

Firehouse 51 has lost another one of its own. New Chicago Fire cast member Rome Flynn has exited the NBC drama after six episodes.
Rome Flynn exits ‘Chicago Fire’ (L-r) Rome Flynn as Derrick Gibson, Christian Stolte as Randy McHolland in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 12 | Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC
Flynn joined Chicago Fire at the beginning of season 12 as new recruit Derrick Gibson, an ex-boxer with a troubled past. He took a spot on Truck 81 previously occupied by Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende), who left the show in the season premiere to move to Detroit.
Unfortunately, Gibson’s time at 51 was brief. As he eventually revealed to Carver (Jake Lockett), he’d embarked on a career as a firefighter after accidentally killing a man during a boxing match. But the trauma from that incident still haunted him. He was also abusing drugs in an attempt to cope with his mental health issues.
