Actress-comedienne Tiffany Haddish has been apprehended for Driving Under Influence (DUI) after police reportedly found her asleep at the wheel of her running car. The 43-year-old star, who was arrested by cops in January 2022 in Georgia after cops received a call that a driver was dozing off on the road, was collared early on November 24 morning in California, hours after performing at a comedy show on Thanksgiving, and is said to have been handcuffed by officers.
“We responded to a call of a vehicle on the roadway at 5.45 this morning,” a watch commander for the Beverly Hills Police Department told Page Six, reports aceshowbiz.com.
He also noted officers were told the driver was “asleep behind the wheel.”
Page Six added sources said her car was “stopped in lanes of traffic” and not pulled over to the side, meaning any vehicles that were driving in the area at that time...

We are backstage at “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, where in just a few weeks the Leno era will come to an end, for the second time. Today is most likely the last appearance for comedian Kira Soltanovich, and her Phony Photo Booth hidden camera segment, her signature bit on the show. As her time here, and the show itself, comes to an end, it seemed like the right time to take stock of her “Tonight Show” journey. “Did I ever tell you this story?” Kira asks me. “I saw Jay Leno at a furniture store in the Valley.

Remember that flight attendant who was accused of hiding pet rats in her underwear? Louann Giambattista sued her former employer, American Airlines, and now she's suing Jay Leno, The Tonight Show, and NBC Universal for making "crude and defamatory" jokes about her, according to Courthouse News. In an admittedly unfunny segment called "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda," Leno prompted three comedians — Alec Mapa, Kira Soltanovich, and Jim Norton — to make jokes that "falsely accused Ms. Giambattista of engaging in sexual relations with a rat," according to the suit. (None of the three panelists are being sued.) Those accusations, which Giambattista denies, have caused her and her husband to become outcasts and have negatively impacted their marriage because, as the filing states, "every time [her husband] looks at her he thinks of Defendant Leno and the heinous segment depicting her as a sexual deviant."And people say The Tonight Show doesn't matter anymore.

"The idea was comedy for women, but it's not like a 'Cathy' cartoon; it's way hipper."
That's how "The Office" star Kate Flannery describes her new all-female stand-up show, "StandUp In Stilettos," coming to the TV Guide Network this month. The show's 12 episodes will feature 36 women, three per episode, performing comedy in front of a live audience. Flannery hopes the easily digestible segments will expose the Guide's browsers to quality comedy of the female variety.
"It's a nice intro for people who might be closed-minded about women in comedy," Flannery said in an interview. "I cannot believe that in all the years that there have been female stand-ups, there has never been a show just for them. The girls can play just as hard as the boys, so I think it's long overdue."
And based on the first (and as of writing, only) comment on the show's preview video on YouTube,...
