In 1960, he co-wrote a sitcom pilot featuring Joan Davis for NBC called "The Joan Davis Show" about a woman who runs an answering service and manages to get enmeshed in the problems of her clients. The pilot was never picked up.
In 1961, he produced an unsold pilot for a sitcom about two war-time buddies who aspire to become show business stars called, "Two for the Road". The pilot starred Harvey Lembeck and Johnny O'Neill.
