His first works in show business were as a singer and musician in some
groups in his native country. Then, after he majored in Psychology,
Osvaldo worked in his profession some years with a good performance in
group therapies with teenagers who needed personal and academic
orientation. Next, Osvaldo took a job as a model. His attractive
appearance allowed him to cast in the Telefilm based on Corin Tellado's
love stories, 'En Aquella Playa', starring Rudy Rodríguez.
Other works was offered to Osvaldo and he was acclaimed for his participation in the play 'M.A.C.H.O.S.', which gave him an Agüeybana Award for Breakthrough Performance. Following other works in theater productions, Angela Meyer cast him for the soap opera 'Natalia'. Next, another play, this one in the musical 'Guys and Dolls', the actor debuted as a professional singer.
His performance in 'En Aquella Playa' was watched in several countries. Soap opera director, Grazio D' Angelo, and writer, Delia Fiallo, supported him to be cast in "Kassandra" (1993)_, starring Coraima Torres. This soap opera has become the most translated one, according to Guinness Book of Records. Also, Osvaldo sang its opening theme, composed by his manager Alejandro Montalbán.
The critic in Venezuela acclaimed Osvaldo's good performance in that soap opera and was invited to display his talent as a singer in the event 'Chica 2001'.
Osvaldo got more acknowledged in several countries around Latin American and starred in _"La Viuda de Blanco" (1996)_ with Yolandita Monge. This Colombian soap opera was transmitted in Spain, Turkey, Indonesia and Taiwan, besides other countries. Its soundtrack was edited with 15 songs, seven performed by Osvaldo and six ones by his co-star. After ten years working abroad, Osvaldo returned to Puerto Rico. Using well his time there, he was working in Telefilms 'Los hijos de Nadie' and 'Una Pasión en el Espejo'. Also, he worked in the series 'Después del Adiós' sharing leading roles with Alba Nydia Díaz.
Osvaldo returned to the theater in the musical play 'The Beauty and the Beast'. In the early 2000s Oswaldo worked between Mexico and Colombia, being cast in some productions, such as 'Pecado Mortal' and Rauzán (2000).
As a businessman Osvaldo founded with Papo Coss, Riverside Entertainment Company, which produced both the mini-series 'Después del Adios' and the movie 'Los Días de Doris'.
