- Harry Poppe was born on May 3, 1890 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He was a producer and production manager, known for His First Command (1929), Private Secretary (1953) and 3 Kids and a Queen (1935). He died on August 25, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

- So well loved by production staff, on the "Martian" episode "Heir today gone tomorrow", the lawyer character is named "Mr Poppe" as a tribute.
