First born son of João Manuel da Costa Félix Oom, sculptor, of German Hamburg Patriciate, and former first wife Maria Teresa do Casal Ribeiro Tavares, great-granddaughter of a brother of the first Viscount of Chanceleiros Nobleman of Coat of Arms of de Carvalho (timber) with crown of Viscount, great-great-granddaughter of the first Baron of Chanceleiros Nobleman of Coat of Arms of de Carvalho (timber) with crown of Baron, and great-great-granddaughter of the first Count of Casal Ribeiro Nobleman of Coat of Arms of do Casal (timber) with crown of Count.
