Film and theatre director, author, journalist, scenarist. Among others
he was the leading director of the Opera and the managing director of
the National Theatre. He got into the film branch around 1917. He
designed scenery and directed (for Korona and Omega factories) in the
silent era. He also directed inthe radio. After 1945 he was a teacher
at the School for Film and Dramatic Arts. Of his literary pieces the
tragedy Attila (Bp., 1911) The tragedy of Agis(play, Bp., 1936) are
best known. His collection of publicism is Hungarian problems(Bp.,
1916).
