Barnaby Meredith

Born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Barnaby started acting at age 5 and played in several TV and stage productions.
In 1994 (age 9) he began training with the Royal Ballet School as a Junior Associate and was awarded a full-time place at the Royal Ballet School in London(White Lodge)in 1996. He moved to the Royal Ballet Senior School at Covent Garden in 2001 where he graduated in 2003. Between 1996 and 2003 he performed in several Royal Ballet productions at Covent Garden including Anastasia (Tsaravitch Alexy), The Nutcracker and Coppelia. He graduated in 2003 before joining The Dutch National Ballet company based in Amsterdam where he stayed for 4 years extending his repertoire to include the major classical ballets and new work by leading contemporary choreographers.
In 2008 he joined the cast of the Bafta winning, London West End Stage Production of Billy Elliot as the older Billy, a role that he held until 2013. Following a 12 month break, during which time he performed in the world premier dance adaption of KES (choreographer, Jonathan Watkins), he re-joined the cast of Billy Elliot in May 2014.
