Glynn Lunney was born on 27 November 1936 in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, USA. He was married to Marilyn Jean Kurtz. He died on 19 March 2021 in Clear Lake, Texas, USA.
A flight director at NASA's Johnson Space Center for the historic
Apollo 11 mission, Lunney was also among the team that saved the
astronauts aboard the crippled Apollo 13 mission a year later.
