Francis Lemarque was born on 25 November 1917 in Paris, France. He was a composer and actor, known for The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964), Playtime (1967) and Taxi 2 (2000). He was married to Ginette Richès. He died on 20 April 2002 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Val-de-Marne, France.
