Anne Kmetyko is a Montreal-based Canadian filmmaker who explores themes of identity and memory in her work. Her latest film, If...Then...Now..., has been selected at 14 international festivals, including the San Francisco Short Film Festival, and earned a Bronze Remi at the 56th WorldFest Houston. In 2023, Anne participated in the Reykjavik International Film Festival Talent Lab and was selected for the 2024 Screenwriters Pitch by the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television. She completed the Television Directing program at L'INIS in Montreal and participated in the Women in the Director's Chair program at the Banff Centre. She is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's Image Arts program and holds a Master's in Film Studies from the University of Montréal. She is developing her debut feature, The Space Between.
