Snatched director Jonathan Levine will direct.

Lionsgate has picked up worldwide rights to the comedy Flarsky starring Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen.

Jonathan Levine, whose credits include the upcoming Snatched starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn, will direct the Point Grey Pictures, Denver And Delilah Films and Good Universe comedy from a screenplay by Dan Sterling.

Flarsky is set to begin production in August and centres on an unemployed journalist who pursues his childhood crush, now one of the most powerful and unattainable women on earth.

Lionsgate brokered the deal with Good Universe on behalf of producers.

Actors Nicole Shipley and Atli Oskar Fjalarsson have been added to the cast of the upcoming thriller film Sable.

Shipley has been in several films (Club Lingerie, Guardians of The Galaxy, Jailbait) and Fjalarsson is an Icelandic actor that was written up in Variety as one of the rising stars from Europe.

When speaking about the actors, Director Michael Matteo Rossi told us "Having known Nicole for a few years now and having worked with her on a past film; I was indeed thrilled to have her come on board. After I cast Nicole, I thought of Atli (who I had met somewhat recently) to play the boyfriend and they had fantastic chemistry together on set and were a joy to work with. The interesting thing about both of them is that they are young stars truly on the rise and really added to the overall quality of the film.

Michael Matteo Rossi’s upcoming thriller feature Sable from InnoVate Productions (in association with Italian Cowboy Productions), has just wrapped principle filming and left us with some very intriguing stills of the movie.

After giving us his first feature film in 2013 with Misogynist, director Michael Matteo Rossi looks to return in 2016 with Sable, a new thriller that just wrapped principal photography. We haven’t heard much about the project just yet, but earlier this week, the first images have arrived, giving us a look at what Rossi has been cooking up over the past little while.

For those unfamiliar with Sable, it stars Ayla Kell (Make it or Break it) in a twisted story of revenge, redemption and one-upmanship. As Rossi said in an earlier statement, the film is, at its core, a cautionary tale:

The latest Lifetime installment of the "At 17" series featured not only a missing girl but the acting debut of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville. So, double your pleasure on Saturday (Oct. 19).

"Missing at 17" joins the long line of fun Lifetime "At 17" movies titled things like "Accused at 17," "Stalked at 17," "Dead at 17," "Betrayed at 17," "Fugitive at 17," etc. In this one, Candace (Ayla Kell) finds out she's adopted and runs away from home. She gets picked up by an older guy named Toby (Ben Gavin), who feeds her vodka and says words like "chillax."

Fortunately, he's not a rapist, so the movie at least zigged when we thought it would zag. Actually, he's pretty nice. He tells Candace she's quitting smoking -- "You're too pretty to smoke" -- and, upon her waking up after a night of drinking and then falling asleep without brushing her teeth, he asks her for a kiss.

These are the updated TV ratings for Make It or Break It on ABC Family. The TV show's ratings are the best way to tell if it will be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season. The third season of Make It or Break It airs on Monday nights. There are eight episodes.

This season of the ABC Family series follows the hopefuls after they've clinched victory at the World Championships and the 2012 Olympic Games become their next goal.

It’s probably both surprising and old news to long-time readers (because I write snooty reviews, and talk about ABC Family a fair amount), but I’m simply a huge fan of ABC Family. I can’t really say why, and it isn’t exactly that I’m the world’s biggest Pretty Little Liars fan (though I was Aria once), but there’s something about the network and the show’s it delivers that, fan of any particular title or no, makes me happy they exist.

Even shows like Melissa & Joey, which seem to shut me right out on paper, have won me over as not only some of the coolest shows on TV (given sufficient demographic caveats), but moreover as strong arguments that television isn’t just about rotting your brain (though who would think I would be on the wrong side of that argument?). Cannes -- Russian youth audiences are about to get a peek at "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" after Walt Disney Russia licensed seasons one and two of the hit ABC Family show to MTV Russia, along with teen gymnastics drama "Make It Or Break It."

  "Secret Life" recently broke records by achieving ABC Family's top ratings among key teen and adult audiences in the U.S. The show, exe-produced by Brenad Hampton and starring Shailene Woodley and Molly Ringwald, follows the pregnancy of teenager Amy Juergens and the impact it has on her friends and family.

"Make It or Break It," set in the world of competitive gymnastics, follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight. It stars Chelsea Hobbs, Ayla Kell, Josie Loren, and Zachary Burr Abelr.

I’m going to be completely honest here. I did not tackle this series because I thought it could actually be decent as it’s given law most anything on ABC Family will be close to unbearable. See folks, I gave into that little devil inside of me, the one that has an appetite for women. I mean, look at that cover, with all those pretty, young bodies in tight uniforms.

That sound you hear is me about to be taken away by the proper authorities, but they’ve allowed me to finish this review, which might be my last for a while (hold your applause.) “Make It Or Break It” is essentially every single family-oriented sports show ever made. There’s the one who’s totally dedicated, the spoiled and undertalented one, the new kid with exceptional talent, and the tough chick of the group.

On the heels of hitting series highs in viewership, ABC Family has decided to renew Make It or Break It for a second season.

Make It or Break It revolves around the high-stakes world of competitive gymnastics. It stars Chelsea Hobbs, Ayla Kell, Josie Loren, Cassie Scerbo, Zachary Burr Abel, Peri Gilpin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Susan Ward.

The recent mid-season premiere of Make It or Break It garnered highs in total viewers, adults 18-49, women 18-49, viewers 12-34, females 12-34, teens and female teens.

Make It or Break It's first season of 20 episodes is expected to finish airing in March. The show will return for season two this summer.

Winning the National Gymnastics competition during the mid-season finale of Make It or Break It spells celebration for the girls, and even more excitement for fans who have been waiting for the show's return.  But on tonight's episode, things aren't as clear as the ice.

"The Eleventh Hour" has the girls facing the aftermath of the competition.  Payson (Ayla Kell) is struggling with the back injury she sustained, and finds herself troubled by how detached she's become from her family and friends.

Fans of ABC Family's series "Make It or Break It" will have a chance to catch up on the entire season filled with drama, dismounts and deceptions followed by the mid-season finale.

On Monday, August 24, the all day marathon will begin at 11:00 am and will wrap up at 8:00 pm, with the mid-season finale to follow at 9:00 pm Et. In the finale episode "All That Glitters," the girls will head to Boston to compete for a spot on the National Gymnastics team.

ABC Family is sailing into upfront season on a wave of ratings growth, having closed out the first quarter of 2009 with its best showing among all of its top demos. In order to sustain its momentum, the network is going to continue to place a premium on original programming, said ABC Family president Paul Lee, who addressed media buyers at a Tuesday afternoon upfront luncheon in Manhattan.

The millennial-targeted net will bow three new series this summer, including the drama "Make It or Break It," which is set against the backdrop of competitive gymnastics; and a pair of comedies in the high-school confidential strip "10 Things I Hate About You" and the music-driven sitcom "Ruby & the Rockits."
