William Karel

William Karel was born in Tunisia, studied in Paris before emigrating
to Israel, where he lived for 10 years in a kibbutz. In 1981 he
returned to France working for over 10 years as a photographer before
concentrating on writing and directing. In 1995, he received an Emmy
Award for his documentary J.F. Kennedy. He has written and directed
many successful documentaries including Dark Side of the Moon and CIA's
secret wars.
