Jack Hunter was born on 4 June 1921 in Hamilton, Ohio, USA. He was a writer, known for The Blue Max (1966). He was married to Shirley Thompson. He died on 13 April 2009 in St. Augustine, Florida, USA.
Operated as an American spy behind German lines during World War II. After the war he went undercover in Germany, pretending to be a black marketeer in order to track escaped Nazis who were trying to re-infiltrate the government.
