Jeffrey Hamby(I)

At age 6, Jeff mounted his dad's camera on his skateboard to film himself skating from a different point of view. He haven't stopped trying to figure out how to get the best shot from the greatest angle. Always wanting to be a camera operator but knowing he was gifted in many areas, Jeff began his career in stunt work, then went into gripping /lighting, and then worked six years as a photojournalist. The last 9 years he has worked consistently as a camera operator, willing to take on any challenge from location to crew. His diverse experiences has enriched him personally/professionally and given him many layers to envision projects from start to finish. His athletic ability and years of participating in extreme sports enables him to react quickly in any situation and rapidly adjust to any type of camera. This includes steadicam, handheld, underwater and aerial cameras.
