Sandi Foxx

Sandi Foxx was born in Manhattan. An only child, Foxx grew up in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx and attended an all-girls school. Following graduation from high school, Sandi went on to attend the City College of New York, where she was both a history and sociology major before eventually dropping out. Foxx got married at age twenty-one, but soon divorced her husband after she found out that he had cheated on her with another woman. Sandi worked for a while at a Catholic publishing firm doing bookkeeping and accounting clerical work (she ultimately was fired from this particular job). Foxx became involved in the swinger scene in New York City in the early 1970's. Sandi befriended several people in the burgeoning East Coast adult film industry around this time and appeared in her first hardcore movie in 1974. Among the notable porn directors that Foxx appeared in X-rated features for are Roberta Findlay, Joseph W. Sarno, Armand Weston, Carter Stevens, Doris Wishman, and Shaun Costello. Moreover, Sandi ran a talent agency for adult film performers in the late 1970's with her close friend Darby Lloyd Rains. Foxx decided to call it quits with her talent agency after she had a nasty run-in with the IRS and subsequently got a job working in an office as well as got married to her second husband.
