Robert Duran(I)

After graduating from the University of Wyoming and looking for something different, Robert decided to pursue another passion and moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute (PIT). While there he discovered drum machines, synths,samplers and was excited about this new digital method so he decided to pursue sound effects design.Combining both the creative and technical, it was the perfect fit. Using his love for percussion, exotic instruments and noise makers big and small, he quickly found himself recording sound libraries for studios and after a lot of hard work and determination , found himself at Advantage Audios doorstep. Since then, he has worked on hundreds of shows, animation, video games and theme park projects.With an eye for detail and the ability to handle sometimes crazy deadlines, He continues to push the envelope in post audio sound. Outside of work he enjoys riding motorcycles,traveling and LA's diverse music scene.
