As The Corrs' eldest (and only male) member, Jim plays guitars and keyboards. He's also involved with their songwriting, record-producing and business-management.

He and wife Gayle Williamson welcomed their first child - son Brandon Corr - on May 10, 2006.

He has one nephew and two nieces by his sister Caroline Corr: Jake Gerard Woods was born on 12 February 2003, Georgina Woods on 11 October 2004, and Rihann Andrea Woodson 1 December 2006.

He has one nephew and one niece by his sister Sharon Corr: Cathal Robert Gerard (Cal) Bonnar, born 31 March 2006, and Flori Jean Elizabeth Bonnar, born 18 July 2007.

He has one niece and one nephew from his sister Andrea Corr: Jean Desmond, born on 28 April 2012, and Brett Desmond Jr, born on 4 January 2014.

Is a licensed helicopter pilot.
