Dante's progressive lighting sprung from a lengthy tenure in experimental / regional theater. He grew up in an performing arts & design based family.
Upon arriving in a fertile mid 90's Hollywood... a wide array of projects were set into motion: TV movies, VFX work, features + corporate project management & direction for live events, music video's & large scope multi-media installations. Working with still photographers, beauty lighting entered with LA's top photographers creating fashion shoots and commercial product launches.
He has worked alongside many of the contemporary leaders in Cinematography & Directing on award winning feature films.

Commercial location work has included: Northern California, the Rockies, the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, the Desert Southwest and the Northeast... into Lower Manhattan, Soho & a very soulful Harlem.... ... auto work to table top, product launches to natural beauty... all inclusive.
Several summers ago he was asked to come aboard as production supervisor & lighting director... helping create Bruce Nauman's life retrospective large format video artworks: "contrapposta studies I-VIII" mounted at The Museum of Modern Art / midtown + the entirety of MOMA PS1, New York City.

He lives in New York City & New Mexico.
