An undeniable observation about this series is that it has so much heart.

Various aspects of Station 19 Season 7 Episode 2 reminded us that we're operating with a shortened season, and the writers are working to cram as much into it as possible, which can lead to some pacing issues.

But at its essence, the series and the characters may benefit from this. And the emotional journey the series can take viewers on within an hour remains intact.

When you have a life story as incredible as Calogero "Chazz" Palminteri's, you have to make a movie out of it. Palminteri first told his story as a one-man show on the stage. He took the basics of his childhood and his more remarkable experiences, such as witnessing a murder at age nine or being friendly with the neighborhood gangsters, and turned them into a coming-of-age story.

On stage, "A Bronx Tale" was all Palminteri. To bring it to the screen though, he would need help. He ultimately found his creative partner in Robert De Niro. Remember how the Veronica Mars revival was slated to premiere on Hulu on Friday, July 26?

Well, Hulu dropped quite the bombshell during the show's Comic-Con panel on Friday, confirming that all eight episodes of the revival would be available a whole week early. 

That means it's available Right Now. 

It's quite the surprise considering all the promotional materials have stated that July 26 is the premiere date, but who cares about that?

Surprise, Marshmallows! Trust “Veronica Mars” to do the unexpected.

The former Upn/The CW teen noir detective series defied cancellation, and much like the Ironborn on “Game of Thrones,” proved that what is dead may never die. First came the revival movie that Kickstarter funded in 2014, and then Hulu entered the fray by ordering a revival series that was supposed to premiere on July 26 … except that the series is now actually dropping a week early.

Kristen Bell dropped that bombshell at the Comic-Con panel for the Hulu revival on Friday. Both shock and then elation rippled through the audience as they digested the news. Joining Bell in celebrating the bold release plan were co-stars Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III, and executive producers Diane Ruggiero-Wright and Rob Thomas.

The panel ended at 12:45 p.m. Pt, which is when all eight episodes of the season were released for bingeing immediately.

The Marshmallow brigade is gonna LoVe this: Veronica Mars‘ fourth season is premiering on Hulu one whole week early. As in today. As in right this second.

The eight-episode revival’s early release coincided with the series’ San Diego Comic-Con panel on Friday (moderated by yours truly). Your impatience has been rewarded, Marshmallows: Hulu has dropped the entire eight-episode “Veronica Mars” revival one week early.

The news of the moved up premiere date — which was set for July 26 — came at the end of the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Friday, which featured stars Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III, executive producer Diane Ruggiero-Wright and creator/executive producer Rob Thomas.

So even though everyone inside the Comic-Con panel was treated to the world-premiere screening of the first episode then, you get the pleasure of viewing all of the episodes now.

The eight-episode revival of the beloved former CW series sees the title character, played by Kristen Bell, investigating a string of serial bombings killing the spring breakers who flocked to Neptune for vacation and decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry.

Ever since the Veronica Mars revival was announced, many of us marshmallows have been thinking about one thing:

What brings Logan back into the Neptune orbit?

Well, it seems like Logan is still working away in territories away from the United States of America, but he does return for a visit with Veronica, and the pair waste no time in giving into temptation.

However, there's trouble in paradise for them.

"So, what's the destructive gene in your relationship?," newcomer Kirby Howell-Baptiste, who plays Nicole asks Veronica.

“I think it might be me?” our titular hero responds.

While there may be some trouble for this couple, there's trouble brewing that is above their relationship.

Multiple explosions are peppered throughout the trailer, proving that this new case is not going to be an easy one.

Veronica Mars fans, prepare yourselves for a summer of LoVe.

The latest trailer for Hulu’s upcoming revival of the detective drama has more Logan/Veronica (aka “LoVe”) content than we’ve previously gotten, and we’re about to go cruising in a yellow XTerra just to celebrate.

In the video, Kristen Bell’s titular sleuth and her sometime boyfriend seem to be meeting up after a long time apart; Jason Dohring’s Logan informs her that he’s “back for extended leave” from the Navy — to which he returned at the end of the series’ 2014 film — though we don’t find out exactly why.

Ever since the Veronica Mars revival was ordered at Hulu, there has been one name ominously missing from the cast. 

Yes, we're talking about Tina Majorino here!

Majorino was last seen in the 2014 movie of Veronica Mars, but we have some bad news for fans holding out hope that she could pop up as Mac during the eight-episode limited series.

Series creator Rob Thomas confirmed at the Atx Television Festival that Majorino will definitely not be making a surprise appearance. 

"We would have loved to have Tina Majorino," he said.

"She had other commitments. That was a shame. We adore her. We would have loved to have had her in it."

It's good to know that Majorino is busy with other projects, but it's a little disheartening that we won't get a glimpse of what Mac is like in 2019.

Good news Marshmallows! The first three seasons of “Veronica Mars” are coming to Hulu, and they’ll be there three weeks before the eight-episode revival premieres.

Hulu said on Saturday that the first three season of the Upn/CW series — 64 episodes in total — will be available to stream beginning July 1. This does not include the 2014 feature film, which is still available on HBO Go and HBO Now.

That means that viewers will have 25 days to get caught up — or reacquainted — with the Kristen Bell-led series before it comes back with new episodes on Friday, July 26.

It's been five years since the fan-funded movie, and it looks like things in Neptune are downright gnarly. 

"When your best friend is murdered before your 17th birthday, you don't develop a keen sense of mercy," Veronica says in a voiceover as a man attempts to rob her. 

With her signature wit, Veronica takes the man down and takes a picture for Instagram to let everyone know what he looks like.

While the big mystery of the revival focuses on Spring Breakers being murdered, Veronica is poised to get herself into a lot of trouble as the layers are peeled back on what's going on.

Hulu has released a full trailer for its upcoming revival of the show, in which Kristen Bell’s titular sleuth investigates a major crime wave during Neptune’s spring break — and her patience for bad guys is wearing thin.

“When your best friend is murdered before your 17th birthday, you don’t develop a keen sense of mercy,” Veronica admits in the video above, before fighting back against someone attempting to mug her.

It is a good morning indeed, Marshmallows, as Hulu just dropped the teaser for the “Veronica Mars” revival during its upfront event in New York.

The 1-minute clip shows the return of Kristen Bell as Veronica Mars herself and many other familiar (Logan!) and new faces (Patton Oswalt and J.K. Simmons’ characters) to the fictional seaside town of Neptune, California. And while everything seems happy at first, with tourists enjoying some fun in the sun as the small town celebrates spring break — Veronica is in for a different kind of blast, literally. Yes, bombs are going off left and right and everyone’s favorite P.I. needs to get to the bottom of it before it’s too late. Don’t worry, she still finds time to get cozy with Logan (Jason Dohring).

Hulu has announced that Mindy Kaling’s “Four Weddings and a Funeral” will premiere on the streamer on July 31. Richard Curtis, who wrote the original film of the same name, will executive produce the series adaptation. Mary McDonnell is making her way back to the small screen!

TV Line is reporting that the former star of Major Crimes will appear on Hulu's upcoming revival of Veronica Mars.

She's on board to play the role of Jane, who is described as a "warm-hearted therapist."

There are no other details about the character at this stage, but still, it's great news to know that McDonnell is returning to the small screen.

It will be a guest-starring role, but it has yet to be confirmed just how many episodes McDonnell will appear in.

Mary is probably most well-known for her starring role on TNT's Major Crimes, which wrapped after six seasons in January 2018.

The show was beloved by fans, but it was a casualty of a change in focus for the cabler's scripted series, and many fans were left unsatisfied with the ending.

It looks like someone in Neptune is about to get his/her head shrunk, courtesy of one Mary McDonnell.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the Battlestar Gallactica and Major Crimes vet is set to guest star in Hulu’s forthcoming Veronica Mars revival as Jane, a warm-hearted therapist.

A Hulu rep confirmed McDonnell’s casting, but declined to reveal the length of her stay or who — if anyone — her therapist character will be treating. (For those wondering, yes, this is the Veronica Mars tidbit I teased in my latest Ask Ausiello column.)

While we're still getting more excited by the day, the cast of this limited series revival is bursting at the seams right about now. 

The latest actor returning for the revival is Ryan Devlin, who played Hearst rapist Mercer on Veronica Mars Season 3. 

He was unmasked as a serial rapist during the drama's final season on broadcast TV.

It looks like sleuth Vinnie Van Lowe is headed back to Neptune after all, as Ken Marino is the latest of the “Veronica Mars” cast members to confirm his return for the Kristen Bell-led series’ upcoming eight-episode revival on Hulu.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros, the studio behind the original series and the followup, confirmed to TheWrap Marino will reprise his role as Neptune’s seediest private investigator and chief rival of Veronica (Bell) and her dad Keith (Enrico Colantoni). The actor is set to return for three episodes.

“The Other Two” star revealed the news himself Monday, in an interview during the Television Critics Association press tour.
