LaMont Cain, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is one of Hollywood's
best and brightest new motion picture producers. Before moving towards
a career in film production he was a highly rated football player in
the state of Florida, playing successfully as a quarterback for Ft.
Lauderdale's Dillard High School. He led his team to several State
Championships, which made him one of the most sought after top prep
quarterbacks in the nation amongst the likes of former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos
quarterback, Peyton Manning. He later
accepted a scholarship to play football for the 2002 National
Champions, the University of Miami Hurricanes, playing with the likes
of Warren Sapp,
Edgerrin James,
Ray Lewis and fellow Industry-mate
Dwayne Johnson, where he also
studied motion picture, theatre and sociology.
After leaving the University of Miami, Mr. Cain would go on to workout for several NFL teams but after playing the NFL shuffle for a couple of seasons his desire to make feature films was much stronger than his desire to play football. After making the decision to leave his professional football dream behind, Mr. Cain began working as a sports recruiter for Impact Sports, a reputable sports agency, owned by sports agent and fellow actor Duane Martin. This job allowed him to travel to many parts of the country, including Los Angeles, CA. A short time later, Mr. Cain followed his true passion...filmmaking. In (1999) he began his career in the entertainment industry as an actor, and after working on several films he developed strong relationships with notable actors, producers, directors and other filmmakers in Miami and Los Angeles. It was through these contacts and the networking process that he discovered his gift for assembling the right talent together and producing films. After moving to Los Angeles, LaMont quickly found his way around the Hollywood scene, and soon formed deeper friendships with stars such as Duane Martin, Tisha Campbell, Hilary Duff, Cory Hardrict, Academy-Award Winner Jamie Foxx, Gabrielle Union, Shaquille O'Neal, Director Brett Ratner, former teammate "The Rock" aka Dwayne Johnson and Will Smith.
During his first year in Los Angeles, Mr. Cain joined Oprah Winfrey's former Oxygen Network and held a position as talent coordinator for a popular talk show, and was quickly promoted to the position of Associate Producer at Warner Brothers on the show Moral Court (2000). It was during this time that he constructed, and was Executive Producer of, the film All About the Benjamins (2002), starring Mike Epps, Ice Cube and Eva Mendes. Upon the completion of this film he decided it was time to follow his true dream of making mainstream features so he established his film production company World Premiere Pictures, Inc. and obtained a two picture/first look deal. During this time frame Mr. Cain studied and learned the high's and the low's of the film "business". Armed with invaluable knowledge of the business side of the industry and financing from Asia, Mr. Cain formed his dream company Hierarchy Pictures. Hierarchy, is a strong up and coming mini-major studio comparable to Legendary, Dreamworks, Lionsgate and Imagine. Along with forming Hierarchy Pictures and serving as Chairman and CEO, Mr. Cain is also the Founder of Reel Scenes, Inc., a talent based production company for actors and it's subsidiary RSVP a commercial and video production company. Most recently Mr. Cain has also branched out into more influential arenas, those include Independent Financing, Talent Management, Music Recording, Digital and Interactive Media and his very own Tech Startup.
