Françoise Brion, born Françoise Alicia Rose German de Ribon, was trained at the Paris Conservatory and started working in cinema as an extra. She made notable appearances in Christian-Jaque's film 'Nathalie' and Billy Wilder's 'Ariane' in 1957 and had a starring role in the 1963 drama 'L'Immortelle'.
