Nathaniel Bellamy Jr. career in Hollywood began in 1988 as a non-union extra in a car commercial. He was paid a whopping $40 dollars. In 1990, he worked on Predator 2 as the stand-in for Kevin Peter Hall, the film starred Danny Glover. he also earned his first SAG contract for doing a stunt in Predator 2. In the mist of shooting Predator 2, he started working on his first Soul Train Music Awards show in the Talent Credentials Department. Eventually working on seven of the 19 shows, the most recent being the 2005 Soul Train Music Awards show. In the summer of 1995, he began work on Space Jam as a technical advisor and basketball coordinator. Space Jam starred Michael Jordan & Bugs Bunny, in a Warner Bros. Pictures release. Along with his coordinating duties, he was also responsible for casting and working with Warner Bros. Pictures payroll department. He was no longer working for just $40 dollars a day. On Space Jam, He worked closely with Joe Pytka (Director), Ivan Rietman (Producer, Animal House/Ghostbusters), Bruce Smith and Tony Cervone (Directors of Animation), and Bob Jones Cinesite (Sfx), on all aspects concerning the basketball in the film. Space Jam is the highest grossing basketball film of all times to date, with a worldwide box office of $250 million dollars, DVDs and video sales of over $500 million dollars, $250 million dollars in licensing fees rights, a certified six million platinum selling soundtrack, featuring the Grammy award winning hit 'I Believe I Can Fly' by R. Kelly, along with six billion dollars in total revenues to date. Along with Tim Grover (ATTACK Athletics) Michael Jordan's personal trainer, Nate coordinated pick-up basketball games with All-Star NBA players at the legendary Jordan Dome for Michael Jordan after each day of shooting on Space Jam.
