Cosby became the first person to ever accept a Razzie Award, after Fox Broadcasting Company honored Cosby's request for his statuettes to be replicated (from the plastic originals) in gold and marble, at a cost of $30,000. Cosby later brought the trophies to The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962), where he told Carson that being involved with the Razzies "was a lot of fun to do".
- 2002 Winner Career Achievement AwardOn September 25, 2018, the Television Critics Association announced that they had voted to rescind the Career Achievement Award they had given to Bill Cosby in 2002. The announcement was released on the same day that Cosby was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in state prison drugging and sexually assaulting a woman 14 years earlier.
