Recensione in evidenza
This movie is about a professor, Oscar Latour (Ulf Pilgaard) who switches places with his journalist-brother, Gert, also played by Ulf Pilgaard. Russian agents wants Gert to smuggle information for them, and then Oscar gets in trouble.. the plot was a bit boring, and the movie was a typically danish farce from the seventies, nothing special.
If you're a fan of Ulf Pilgaard, then this movie is for you. I am a fan of four other actors in this movie, but none of them had a very big part. Ove Sprogøe was only in it for a minute at the end, looking at the professors tattoos on his back, and Jens Okking (who also directed it) was also only there for a short moment, yelling after two cars who drive through his gas station at high speed. There's also a guy in a yellow coat who appears here and there, accompanied by funky disco-music, made me laugh a couple of times.
The main reason I bought this movie was to see Sven-Ole Thorsen in his film-debut (and so far his only movie made in native Denmark, as far as I know, not counting the 'Vangs Auto'-commercials). He was only in the movie in a very few scenes, and had no lines, which disappointed me very much. But it was still fun to see him doing his usual tough guy stuff, only this time it was done to Ulf Pilgaard and not some rich mans American actors. Torben Bille, who I liked in 'Dværgen' (The sinful Dwarf) also had a very small cameo alongside Sven-Ole, and his role was exactly the same. Few minutes, no lines. Very disappointing. But he was on the cover though.
But just the fun of spotting them made it all worth while. The rest was just ho-hum danish comedy, didn't really care too much about it.
