- Opens with a journalist reporting on the 1997 Kobe earthquake, as he remembers a trip made as a young boy. Then, he and family took a boat trip from Awaji to Beppu in order to bury the ashes of his elder brother, killed in the just-ended WWII. The lad spends much of the trip trying to talk his elder brother out of running away. They encounter an array of characters on the journey. Most prominent among them a black marketeer who, like the elder brother, feels that the "new ways" can only benefit him, and work against the boys' father, who is strict and traditional.
- It's a fantasy hack-and-slash video game with Tetsuya Mizuguchi as video-game designer. The game borrows heavily from other video games, most notably from the Dynasty Warriors and Kingdom Under Fire series.
- The program features two helper characters to guide users through the various features of the program. The character McZee (voiced by Michael Shapiro) provides help throughout the studio while his assistant Melanie provides various tutorials.
- Phantom of Inferno is a story detailing the life of a 15-year-old Japanese boy who is kidnapped after witnessing the killing of a reporter. After being kidnapped his memories of his past life are erased and is given the choice to join Inferno or die. He makes the only choice he can to join and is given the name Zwei and will study under Ein. Ein is also known as Phantom since this is the title given to the organization's top assassin. Inferno is said to be the United Nations that exists only for crime syndicates. As Zwei makes his way through training and various missions, deceit and betrayal occur even within Inferno that slowly puts Zwei in increasing danger. Along the way, he meets a girl by the name of Cal Devens and though he tries to protect her, she too is drawn into Inferno to become the assassin.
- Somewhere, in a far off world called Primp Town, there lives a young girl whose wish is to become a great magic user. Her name is Amitie, and she goes to Primp Magic School to learn about magic spells. However, one day, her teacher, Professor Accord, loses the flying can that she always carries around with her. She says that whoever finds the can gets a reward. Excited, everyone goes out to search, Amitie included. You are Amitie, and you must help her best her classmates, plus a few other faces, at games of Puyo Pop.
- Hamtaro has been having a recurring dream where a beautiful princess hamster asks for help and he can't forget about her, even when he's awake. One day, Laura tells him that everyone in the family is going to her father's hometown. When Hamtaro tells his friends about it, Maxwell pulls out a book on old hamster history that says there is a "homeland" for hamsters called "Hamja Kingdom". When the Ham-Hams build a sand castle and recite a spell as it is written in the book they are whooshed to the Kingdom, where they run into old enemies and new ones and have to save the princess.
