Neighboring counties of Chola Naresh and Chola Chalukya are in a state of war, however, the might of the Chola Naresh overcomes that of Chalukya, captures Maharaja Rajendra Bhupathi, and his daughter, Madhavi, bind them in chains and bring them for justice before Maharaja of Naresh, who under advise from his Senapati, Jai Singh, decides to set the father and daughter free, and signs a peace treaty with them. It is now time for Madhavi to get married and a contest is arranged between Pratap Singh, Vikram Singh and Jai Singh. The winner is Jai, and a marriage date is fixed. Embittered that he did not win the contest, Vikram arranges for Madhavi's abduction, but instead Mangala, the adopted daughter of Maharaja Naresh is brought before him. In order to redeem himself in her father's eyes, he agrees to marry her. Soon the two marriages take place, and the two Maharajas announce that they will make Suraj the Crown Prince and go on a holy pilgrimage. The two women soon become pregnant and give births to two boys. Then Jai is sent to hunt down some wild animals. When he returns after a few weeks, nothing is the same anymore. Madhavi has been arrested for poisoning Suraj, and is held in a dark dungeon. When Jai fights for her, he is captured and blinded. Vikram takes over the throne, and tells Madhavi that she is to get married to him without 24 hours or he will kill her son. The question remains with no one to come to her aid, will Madhavi accede to Vikram's demands?

Advocate Durga Prasad was to have received a file from Chote Thakur with regard to a case pending in a Court in Bangalore, India. However, Chote gets killed, he does not receive the file and the Court's decision goes against him. Then he is approached by a former Government Employee, an Inquiry Officer, who claims that he was wrongly dismissed and framed by corrupt Government Officials. Durga Prasad, along with his juniors, Ashok, Ravi and one other, decide to handle his case, however, before even the case could be filed, the Inquiry Officer is killed. An angered Durga is determined to take this matter to Court, but before that could happen, he and his wife, Laxmi, are killed in broad daylight right outside the Courthouse. His Junior, Ashok, promises to avenge their killings and sets about to locate their killers. He finds out that all of them work for Vidhya Sagar, and he goes about killing them one by one. Then the DIG of Police, Jagdish Chaudhary, assigns Police Inspector Vijayalaxmi to apprehend Ashok, not knowing that Vijaya and Ashok are in love with each other. She questions Ashok, but he provides her an alibi for each and every occurrence. But when the Mayor of Bangalore is killed, she catches Ashok red-handed, leaving open the question whether Ashok will be ready to provide an alibi for this death or merely claim that he did not do it. The question remains, if Ashok did not kill the Mayor, then who did?

There is a lakhsman rekha which all brothers try to cross. And in the end.. Only the heroin is capable of crossing which certainly makes this a amazing legendary epic movie...
