- Buddy West (Buddy Roosevelt) inherits a ranch but a clause in the will provides the ranch shall go to the foreman, Pete Hall (William Lowery), if Buddy is found incompetent, which leads to foul play by Hall. Buddy escapes from an asylum where he has been sent and returns to vindicate himself and free his uncle's daughter, Dorothy Parker (Violet La Plante), who is being held prisoner by Hall and his henchmen. Buddy wins out and also wins the hand of Dorothy.
- Buddy rescues Bonnie Norton and is rewarded with a job on her father's ranch. When he is captured by Nachez' outlaw band and is left tied to a train track, he is rescued by McCune, another bandit. They both escape, and though Buddy is mistakenly identified with the outlaws, he vindicates himself by capturing Nachez.
- When the brother, Dick Ross (Richard Thorpe), of his sweetheart, Mary Ross (Elsa Benham), is framed by their unscrupulous ranch-foreman, Jack Wells (Joe Rickson), Buddy Benson (Buddy Roosevelt)sets out to bring the foreman to justice, clear is sweetheart's brother, and win the hand of his sweetheart.
- Unjustly accused of murder, Buddy Blake escapes from the courtroom where he is on trial for his life and rounds up the Raiders, an outlaw gang, secretly led by Luke Noels, that has been attempting to drive Buddy's boss, Martin, from his ranch on Granite Range. Buddy and Doris Martin then receive her father's permission to be married.
- Looking for adventure and a $1,000 reward, Buddy Roberts has himself appointed a deputy sheriff in the town of Sleepy Hollow, in order to bring to justice a notorious bandit, The Hawk. Buddy beats Red Turner, The Hawk's right-hand man, in a fight, after Turner makes a drunken attack on Estelle Morgan, Buddy's girl. When Red rides to The Hawk's camp, Buddy follows him and is then captured by The Hawk's men. Making his escape, Buddy returns to town, where he is hidden by Estelle. The Hawk and his men ride into town, and the bandit is killed in a gunfight with Buddy. Buddy and Estelle make plans to be married.
- Buddy Wallace, foreman of Carol Grey's Lazy B Ranch, fires Squinty Burnt for shirking his work while loading a shipment of cattle and gets the best of Squinty in the resulting fight. To get even, Squinty forges Carol's name on a bill of sale, abducts her, and hides her in a squatter's cabin. Buddy sets off in pursuit; gets involved in a series of fights, stunts, and horse races while escaping from the sheriff, who arrested Buddy for kidnapping Carol; and succeeds in rescuing Carol and saving the cattle. Buddy is rewarded with Carol's promise to marry him.
