- Welcome to Monster Camp, the true story about a world where people transform into creatures, heroes, and monsters to escape their daily lives. In the vein of Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons and Dragons; these enthusiasts have developed a complicated world to bring their fantasies to life. And unless someone is willing to take charge, the fantasy may be lost forever.

- The story typically goes: you fall head over heels in love, have lots of sex, make a commitment, move in together, start sharing your dreams and goals, buy a house, maybe raise a child or two, care for each other when times are tough and eventually grow old together. Gay men form stable relationships for the same reasons that heterosexual couples do, but the ties that bind these couples are in some ways different. - Through the use of black and white photographic stills and voice-over narration, an adult gay man looks back on his childhood and coming out in an Oregon town. His parents take him to a psychologist, show him a video involving male prison rape and abuse, and, in a last desperate attempt to save their son, drop him off in the study of the local Baptist preacher. A few years later, his attempts to reconcile the position of the church, his parents, and his own conscience, lead him to ask "am I really gay?" He searches for potential causes of gayness. A true autobiographical story of a young man growing up in the mill town of Springfield, Oregon in the 1970's.

Participants become characters in a fantasy universe through a complex system of costumes, potions, spells and swords. DRAGONS ARE REAL explores the world these participants inhabit and the fine line between fantasy and reality.
- Through the use of black and white photographic stills and voiceover narration, an adult gay man looks back on his childhood friendship with a decidedly straight athlete. Growing up in the same neighborhood with fathers who worked together, their relationship evolved over the years, despite the many bumps of adolescence. They remain close today, although Dirk is now in jail serving a multiple-year sentence for robbery.
