What emotions would you feel? What would you do? Naturally, Jemmy hungered for freedom, but this time would be different. Being on the other side of freedom made Jemmy realize that freedom was meaningless when his people were still in chains Jemmy refused to believe the idea that blacks would receive their rewards in the afterlife. He wanted freedom and he would do anything to get it, even if it meant leading a revolt. As Moses led his people out of bondage so would Jemmy.
