Brad Hurley
Brad has more than 30 years of experience as a writer and editor on climate change and other environmental topics. He’s worked for clients such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme, the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Global Change Research Program, the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and state and local agencies.
A former science journalist and environmental educator, Brad translates complex scientific topics for non-specialists. He’s managed our support for four U.S. EPA websites—including the climate change site—and developed and maintained carbon footprint calculators. Brad has also served as editor for major multi-author reports such as EPA’s America’s Children and the Environment series and FHWA’s biennial report on U.S. transportation infrastructure conditions and performance.
Brad is also a senior fellow with the ICF Climate Center. In this role, he provides compelling research and objective perspectives on a wide range of climate-related topics to help advance climate conversations and accelerate climate action.
