Phoenix’s Global Ambassador is now accepting reservations for stays beginning Dec. 6, the buzzy property’s opening day, according to a release obtained by Hotel Dive.
The hotel has been nearly a decade in the making, according to the release.
Four out of five of the hotel’s food and beverage concepts will be available to guests as of opening day. Those include Le Âme, a Parisian steakhouse that will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch; Le Market, which will offer espresso and pastries in the morning and wine and cheese pairings at night; Pink Dolphin, a Mexican- and Peruvian-inspired restaurant with a covered dining terrace; and the lobby bar, which will serve craft cocktails.
The Global Ambassador’s spa will also be operational as of opening day. The hotel’s rooftop restaurant, théa Mediterranean Rooftop, will open on Dec. 27.
The property’s 141 guest rooms for the first time include dark wooden drawers and copper accents. The Global Ambassador also includes a members’-only club with a private restaurant, bar and fitness space.
The hotel is the brainchild of Arizona restaurateur Sam Fox’s Author & Edit Hospitality. Fox has been nominated for 12 James Beard Awards throughout his career, according to the Phoenix New Times. The Global Ambassador is Fox’s first hotel project.
The hotel has garnered backing from celebrities, including Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, former Arizona Cardinals player Larry Fitzgerland Jr. and country star Dierks Bentley, according to Travel + Leisure.
Earlier this year, the property said it would open in November.
