Selena Gomez is a vision in black at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The actor—who has been on a rosette streak of late—walked the red carpet at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater in a sweeping black velvet gown with a long train and a striking crystal halter neckline. She wore custom Ralph Lauren piece with coordinating diamond drop earrings and several diamond bracelets and rings.

The dress resembled the black gown she wore to the 2023 Academy Museum Gala—a stunning piece with a silver rosette halter neckline.

Gomez wore her dark brown hair down, straight, and had on a sharp cat-eye and a glossy pink lip.

Tonight is a big night for Gomez, who, in addition to having received her first acting nomination for her role as Mabel Mora in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, obtained her third producing nomination for the series, making her the most nominated Latina producer in Emmys history.

The comedic murder-mystery show is up for Outstanding Comedy Series, as well as several other awards: Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (both Steve Martin and Martin Short), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Meryl Streep), Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Matthew Broderick), and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series (Da’Vine Joy Randolph).

At last year’s Emmys, Gomez showed out in a spectacular sheer Oscar de la Renta gown covered in scarlet sequins arranged in a floral, leaflike pattern. Boyfriend Benny Blanco attended the show with her, and while they did not walk the red carpet together, he was spotted blowing kisses at her from the sidelines.

Apart from Only Murders in the Building earning several nods, the 2023 Emmys also saw Gomez’s emotional docuseries Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me earning a nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program.
