Amal and George Clooney are living la dolce vita, and they’re dressing the part.
Earlier this week, the couple was spotted enjoying an intimate dinner with friends near Italy’s Lake Como. For the occasion, Amal sparkled in a sequined white crochet dress from Chanel’s Resort 2023 collection, while her husband opted for a tan blazer, crisp white button-up, and beige trousers.
A few days and a short trip later, the duo touched down for the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where Wolfs—a crime thriller starring George and longtime friend Brad Pitt—will make its world premiere. Arriving ahead of the film’s debut, the Clooneys disembarked from a boat on Friday in the chicest of fashions, proving they even travel in style.
Amal stepped out wearing a sleeveless canary yellow sundress, which featured a ruched fabric that tapered in toward her waist before flaring out into a voluminous skirt with a flouncy lettuce hem. The eye-catching color of the short dress made the human-rights lawyer impossible to miss, while her seasonal accessories only added to her statement-making look.
Leaning into the drama of the upcoming film festival, Amal wore an oversize straw hat with a raw brim, as well as a large pair of black square sunglasses. She brought a touch of boho to her outfit with a pair of nude peep-toe wedges, and coordinated her neutral accessories with her final addition of a beige Chloé bracelet bag, which she chose to carry as a top-handle rather than a crossbody.
As Amal walked hand in hand with George, he could be seen wearing his own refined travel outfit. The actor sported a black polo shirt styled with a pair of white trousers, and followed his wife’s cue, choosing neutral accessories like a tan belt and beige sneakers.
