It’s been an eventful first day in Colombia for the Sussexes.

After meeting with Vice President Francia Márquez, visiting students at a local school, and stopping by Bogotá’s National Arts Centre, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan closed out day one of their trip with a powerful conversation on digital and online safety. The couple participated in a panel for the Summit on Responsible Digital Future, where they talked about fostering a safer environment for young people in the age of social media.

For the outing, Meghan changed into her third outfit of the day, slipping into a loungey set that consisted of a burnt orange Victoria Beckham blouse and silky copper-toned La Ligne pants. She rounded out the look with some sand-colored sandals from Aquazzura and gold jewelry, including dangly earrings and a Cartier necklace.

Harry, for his part, looked dapper in a classic black suit and light blue dress shirt.

The Sussexes have long advocated for safer digital and internet practices that prioritize the mental health of young users. The two recently launched the Parents’ Network, an initiative that provides support for parents whose children have been negatively affected by social media, through their charitable nonprofit, the Archewell Foundation. Prior to that, Harry and Meghan hosted a mental health summit in New York City last October to discuss the convergence of mental health and social media.

“The burden of this can’t solely be on the parents,” Meghan said at the summit last fall. “A lot of the conversations we’ve had quietly behind the scenes with tech executives, they do feel that they’ve created parental controls and certain guardrails to curb this, but not all parents are tech-savvy and can navigate that, and there needs to be a better solution than that. You put in safeguards so when situations like this keep happening, you’re still working to keep people safe.”
