Schools fundraising

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people from across the UK are seen at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And every day is a chance for you to make a difference. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential. Your school could help make that happen.

'Fundraising helps to foster a sense of community with students and staff.'

Milton Keynes Preparatory School was inspired to organise a mini marathon due to a pupil spending many of her early years at GOSH.

Students and staff came together to complete three laps of the playing field, encouraging and cheering each other with Bernard the Mascot joining in with high fives.

The children and staff alike enjoyed the fun challenge, one which brought the whole school community together.

'We all worked together to make the event a success and raise as much money as possible.'
