I’m not normally a huge fantasy reader (though I love and respect the genre) - and it was wonderful to read something that so perfectly combined thriller, horror, fantasy and even YA to such great effect. Ed has done such a fantastic job here, I’m so proud to have been able to witness this novel’s evolution - and yet still be thrilled, surprised and moved by the final result. ...more
