I was surprised by how easy it was to get into the story and the writing, i had problems with the weird talks sometimes about incest (which didnt happen just talking), and the sexualization of a teenage girl, but overall i love how the characters are portrayed, and the themes of religion, tyranism, philosophy, the ending as well was satisfying in this way...more

Even when I didn't really know where this was going, I really wanted to see where it would end, and the main character may feel a bit messy, but we are only from her pov and I couldn't help emphatizing with her and rooting for her, I enjoyed the friendships represented here in this weird school, and the writing was so interesting, a mix between poetic and random everyday moments like "she picked at the dirt under her nail", and "words were silly human inventions; the painting was a vision.
