Prince of a demented Mafioso. Golden boy of twisted Mistress. Black ops agent fighting a horrific underworld. Protecting a girl, I have been hired to guard.
I want to own her.
There is only one problem— She took a contract with my mentor. My best friend. I put her in his care for safekeeping. In the past, she had been a bad, bad girl doing very naughty things. And now, the men in the darkness want her dead.
I need to make her mine.
There is only one problem— She has other plans. And now, it is my job to change them.
In the fetish world, nothing is as it seems in the middle of a sleepy little town in Texas. The Juliet academy lies on the outskirts, keeping the hustle and bustle alive and saving Sugargrove from extinction. The carnival of carnal feasts beckons as the house of mirrors threatens to collapse, shattering everything they once knew to the ground.

Salt Kissed Love is the first book in the series. However, you must have read the prerequisite world-building book – JULIET. NOT a standalone book. Please read Juliet prior to reading Salt Kissed Love.
Kailee Reese Samuels writes dark dirty lit. Her words may cause increased heartrate, hand sweating, and other issues. You are strongly advised to enter at your own risk. Not for the faint of heart. May cause triggers in some. Others may choose to ride again and again. You have been warned.

There are some authors' work you simply can't stay away from. Kailee Samuels is undoubtedly one of them; every time I finish one of her her stories, I long to read the next one.
"A night to remember, a day never to forget." With Salt Kissed Love, she puts the accent on Iris and Sal's story and, OMG, was it good!!! This couple is fire, danger, heartbreak and whiplash.
They are messed up, perfectly imperfect, real. They infuriated me, made me cringe and scream, and yet, they are those characters you love and root for, no matter what. The complexity of their couple, the asset versus the target, proved to be challenging, beautiful, intoxicating. And so addicting. Emotionally intense, SKL stirred some strong reactions in me. Jealousy, deceit, doubts, trust issues, betrayal, lust, love, and friendship run the story. Hang on, that is pure craziness. "Our relationship is a complicated, misunderstood encyclopedia of psychological mind fuckery and we speak a language unto ourselves."
You can count on the author to make you think, to keep you riveted to her words. Between the sensuality, the pain and the hurt, the thrilling storyline and the multi-layered plot, you'll never know what's coming to you, and when it does... Boom, it's going to blow you away!!! "We sin with one another as we soar over the edge and fall."
Collect the pieces of the puzzle, add more revelations to the bigger picture, see the events in another light, let the story unfold. Enjoy the experience....
Make sure you read Juliet before you read this story. I truly loved Juliet but I’ve gotta be honest and say I loved Salt Kissed Love even more. I think the author stepped up the angst ladder with this one. After reading a few of Kailee stories I had high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed.
Sal and Iris drove me mad. I absolutely loved them but there were times I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration. The twists and turns kept coming and I couldn’t stop reading it.
Another brilliant storyline with fantastic characters. I cannot praise this author highly enough. I’m so looking forward to reading more from this author.

Ever since i read my first book by Kailee Reese Samuels, i was an instant fan and knew that i'd be captivated by the storylines she'd come up with. When she first started, her books were written in the third person - one of the hardest tenses to write in since it's so easy to make a story impersonal and yet, at no time did it feel that way. The way she brought her characters to life was unforgettable!
4 breath taking dreams
Sal Reneiro is the hero in this author's stories. He's what you could call bigger than life as he's so incredibly versatile - secret agent, mafia heir, submissive, Dominant, masochist, and so much more! There's just something about this man that makes you want to know more about and every time you do, your heart skips a beat but when it comes to him and Irish (especially after his relationship with Kaci), i'm just this hungry little book eater who want to know EVERYTHING there is to know about them. In true Kailee Reese Samuels fashion, this book pulls you in and puts you through the ringer just so that you can put yourself back together in time for her next release for it all to start over again.
Dip your toes in if you’re game and enter the world of TAT. Nothing is crystal clear, it’s deep, dark and murky.
“I am a man decimated by a woman. Crashed. Evaporated. Ghosted.”
I adored Sal from page one with Juliet. The gorgeous mafia prince, stepping into a world he’d soon rule and embrace as a sub. His beautiful Kace, the only one grounding him in the life thrust upon him. Manipulated by his own dying wife, trained, used in a war that began long before his birth. Destroyed by her death—presented with the gift of Iris. Even in death Kaci’s control over Sal continued.
“She is my asset; I am her target. And we were never supposed to fall in love.”
Not only was Sal a shell of the man they once knew, he’d fallen in love with the opposing team—Iris. The absolute raw emotion, Sal’s character is beyond complex. A weaker man wouldn’t survive the journey he was set on at such a young age.
Cruz, Nero and Dom—the unholy trinity. How aptly named they are. I adore Cruz. The three men and their long history. Dom is old school in every way, and a true master and mastermind.
On the other side of the coin, you have their holy trinity—Iris, Deacon and Sal. Deacon’s story is truly as important as Sal for me. Switching between books, I remember why, and how much I loved trails scattered throughout. His absolute devotion to Sal, ingrained loyalty and his quotes later on are golden. It may be Sal’s series, but Deacon I truly adore. He’s a fictional character, sure, and I’ll always manage to fall for the beautiful broken ones.
“Her pristine white wings spread around my pitch-black soul as the light from her halo awakens my darkness.”
The question remains, can Iris save Sal, or is she his destruction? Sal might be the one trying to keep them all safe, it’s Deacon and Dom, standing silent guard. Iris remains the glue attempting to hold them together and tear them apart at the same time. Nothing is as it seems.
“I will pull the house of cards down to the depths of hell when I am ready.”
The world building, a lifestyle rarely portrayed in fiction at this level, is one often misunderstood. The absolute trust and respect required in partnerships. The mafia is within context and never of shock value, it’s well researched. Steam is off the charts. This is eloquently written. For me, it remains one of my top ten series, in what’s still an unclassified trope, per se. It hits so many shades of dark.
“Keep your angels and saints close by. Their salvation may be the only thing that can save you from your sins.”
This won’t be for a lot of readers. Very few will immerse themselves so deeply into a world as carefully crafted and wait for an author to release. There’s no instant gratification. This is the life unfolding of Lucas Salvatore Raniero. It’s a big read every time. Beautifully written, edited and polished. It’s not fluffy. I post very few reviews of books where hate may be thrown if they’re not PC, or a reader has triggers—content warnings are extremely valid in this case. I adore this author’s worlds!!!
Question is, can you handle the heat and depth of darker human emotions? You’ll never forget TAT.
Salt Kissed Love=SKL I loved Juliet and even though SKL starts a new spin off series, you NEED to read Juliet first to know Sal and Iris. Those two.... so much attraction, anger, hate, love and passion; the angst with these characters will have you screaming at your kindle one minute, then having those "oh my" moments, then the authors throws you back again. Sal, our wild sub turning Dom is still finding his way and what a journey it is, and you know that when he does... LOOK OUT!!! I loved Iris's character in Juliet and still do, do I want to b-slap her, YES!! But I saw her trying to comes to grip with realities of things from her past and to grow, to become what she thinks Sal needs, she thinks she doesn't deserve him as she was, so she'll become that person. You know those two need and want each other, but can they ever get past the drama and hate they feel towards one another at times? Will it ever happen for them, to be what the other needs to make them whole? There is no denying the hot sex between these two, none!! And there is love on many levels. Sal loves when his Iris is bad, because HE will will enjoy punishing her, to see her on her knees. For Iris, Sal is and will always be part of her, she feels that man down to her soul.. Even at the worst of times, she knows it's Sal who's always been there. This book is well layered with it's story and cast of characters (Juliet), it's so much more than a story of BDSM, it's how to deal and love thru it, the give and take, the trust. A story of how a couple can hate and hurt the other so deeply but love as well. Ms. Samuels spins the emotional web, those emotions spill off the pages going from one end of the spectrum to the other. She will have you on your toes through out this story and when you "think" you know, you don't.... There are absolutely NO WORDS for that ending, I was shocked and kept thinking, she didn't just write that, but she did, and I for one can not wait for the next book!! So do yourself a favor, grab Juliet to get to know these two, then enjoy the ride with Salt Kissed Love!!
OMG this woman and her writing powers always amaze me! Sal is such an amazingly beautiful dark twisted mofo! That ending!? There are no words for that.... another must read 5 star book from the world of Sal Raniero just when you think you know what’s going on & what’s happening BAM twist! You never know anything! Page turning hanging on the edge of you seat through the whole book. Can’t wait for TAT 2
What better way to get caugh up with one book then for its blurb?? Do you know another way? I don't think so. Since my first glimpse into this blurb and I was a goner. I had to had it no matter what and surprise... Here I am. Kailee Reese Samuels is a new author to me and let's just say that I really enjoyed her writing. Her words were raw and intense and that made her writing super appealing. Salt Kissed Love is her latest release and Jesus... Let's talk about an intense book. This book tells the stories of Sal and Iris. But I need to give you an advise. In order for you to understand this book you need to read Juliet first. You'll see why.. How can I talk about them without spoil? I could yell you a few things but I decided not to. So to find out read Juliet and then Salt Kissed Love and find out. These two made me so mad that I wanted to enter the book and slap both of them. They are stubborn as hell, Jesus Christ.... These two are insane. The plot is amazing and intense. Everything that happened made me stand on my toes and so frustrated.... I was afraid or mad but everything had a reason to be. The interation between the characters is raw, insane and bumpy sometimes. They had this weird chemistry between them. This book will present us with devastation, despair, longing, madness as well as hope, love, desire and happiness. I'm truly speechless because I can't find a word to describe these books so I'll stick with fascinating. Kailee you rock woman. These two book nailed it for me and I want more. Please... I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Oh my Goddess! Where do I start? An Incredibly Breathtaking Journey of Sal’s life. Like a Butterfly to the Flame, Raniero is absolutely drawn to Iris Kettles. His devil may care attitude about his “feelings” for Iris border on destruction. Seeing Sal from Author Kailee Reese Samuels eyes and heart, pulls through your soul the pain and anguish this character suffers at his own hands and especially at the hands of those he trusts the most. His life, is it really his, or has he become a chess piece in an even bigger game. I appreciate all this Author has done to allow us to “feel” what these characters are going through with her words. An Amazing story, a Celebration of Life and Death and everything in between. I would not recommend this story for the faint of heart or those that see through Rose Tinted Lenses. But if you see life as it truly is, in all its dark and twisted corners, then this book is for you. Be prepared to have your heart ripped out and your emotions to swell and crash as hard as a Tsunami wave. This story will dragged you under and keep you prisoner until the very end. And have you begging, no crying for more. Thank you Kailee Reese Samuels for this incredible opportunity to see inside your mind! Well Done 🌺💋♥️

NOTE: Salt Kissed Love is the first book in the series. However, you must have read the prerequisite world-building book – JULIET. NOT a standalone book. Please read Juliet prior to reading Salt Kissed Love.
Salt Kissed Love was definitely not what I expected, the angst, drama and omg so much more! Salt Kissed Love is a new series, but you will need to read Juliet first. I loved Juliet, but Salt Kissed Love is a whole other level.
Sal and Iris have to be one the most angst fueled couples I've read in a long time. I can't tell you the number of times I yelled at my kindle while reading this book. There is only so much I can write in this review without giving anything away. I love a good angsty read and Kailee did not disappoint me. The one thing I will say is expect the unexpected. Do yourself a favor and read Juliet and the grab this book! If you're anything like me and love a good angsty book this is for you!
Wow, holy Smokes and Wow! I was totally not expecting what I got from this book. This is a spin off from the Juliet world only here we are getting more information and the dynamic behind the much loved couple that is Sal and Iris.
What these two put each other through, I can’t even begin to describe. Love, loss and heading for disaster. I don’t want to give any spoilers away as this is a new book in a new series and I want you to get the full impact of this book.
I will say, prepare yourself, if you have read Juliet you will know who all the major players are but the impact of this book I can only compare to being hit but a ton of bricks. Totally unexpected, and if you are a Sal fan you will get more of this Dom than you bargained for.
You will definitely need the tissues for this one.
I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book.
So after reading Juliet ( and you have to read Juliet before reading this one) and meeting all the unique characters from this town and BDSM school/club. With this story, we get Sal learning more about himself with Iris as his main event. Iris is also growing up and learning to embrace herself when it comes to this life. This book is so much more than just about BDSM although it is the main event. We again see the characters from Juliet and the wonders that came from that story. The emotions fly off the pages of this book, so much so that you can not put it down. There is a lot of layers going on in this book but it is so worth reading it. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.
Read on behalf of Two Darlin Dolls and a Book Review Blog.
“Together, we merge into one and he is the dark prince of my salvation and I am the angel of his sins.”
There are no words that can describe my feelings and emotions for this book properly but I will try my hardest. Devastation, hopeful, heartbroken, love, despair, happiness and longing. I could tell from the prelude that this one was going to put me through the wringer.
“We seem destined to always be somewhere between the blissful heaven of love and the hell of disgust.”
Juliet is a MUST read before you can even begin to understand the world of SKL. A lot of things are explained and many answers are given to lingering questions. Sal presents yet another side of himself and once again I’m caught in his web. He is still broken but is evolving into a beautiful, strong dominant. His mind is set on who he wants and heaven help anyone who gets in the way.
“I need Serene’s kiss of leather and want a certain someone special on her knees. The revelation changes me. And the me I was before… Well, he disappears, too.”
Iris...holy shite...Iris blew my mind in this book. I’ve always loved her since the beginning and I feel no matter what I will continue loving her. Did she piss me off? Hell yes, no doubt. Probably one of the biggest shocks ever. She has grown so much since Juliet and I’m excited to see how she will grow from here. Sal runs through her veins and I believe no matter what she will be forever bound to him. I wish I could go on and say more but I don’t want to spoil anything.
“The one my soul seeks safe harbor within. The one my spirit believes as my own. My halcyon devil and my dirty savior. And we are more. More than the hate. More than the love. More than words…”
This is not a mindless read. No skimming allowed. You need to read every line to understand what is going on and right when you think you have it figured out...Be prepared for another turn in the plot. This is what I love most about Kailee’s writing. I think I know what is going to happen but then time after time I am proven wrong. She always keeps me guessing and on the edge of my seat the entire journey. Don’t even get me started on that ending...WTH?? I’m stunned and at a loss for words.
“We are perilous. We are violent. Sal and I are caged.”
Since Juliet I have always been and will forever be TeamSal and TeamIris. I want them to find their balance and their dark, twisted happily ever after. This book is simply breathtaking. Another exceptional read from Kailee Reese Samuels!! I am, not so patiently, waiting for the next book.
“Iris was a bad girl. A really bad girl. And I am going to be the mofo to punish her for her sins.”
Arrgg I hate cliffhangers, but Holy freaking Gods! That was just… just… Well I am not sure I can sum it up in one word. The book is a total mind-filed just when you think you have it figured out. A new curve ball is thrown your way. This is one freaking well-written messed up book. But I loved every minute of it.
This is the continuing story of Sal and Iris. And omg what a messed up girl she is. And Sal may be just as messed up. Now if you have not read Juliet the initiation you need to read it first as this will all confuse you. And if you have not do not read more of my review go read the book first. This starts with the end and then jumps back to 6 months ago. And there is so much going on that through me. I am going to say there are more operatives in play than you would ever imagine. I mean some will really surprise you and most of this starts with Sal’s dead wife. Man the things she put in motion are mind boggling. I was so dumbfounded by some of this and then to have the book with one running off and one being arrested for murder. And the who really shocked me. I need the next book now not next year. But we will have to wait on pins and needles.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too
I have read all of Ms. Samuels work so I was surprised to realize I owned this but hadn't read it, and I'm so glad I did because a lot of pieces fell into place for me.
Sal is still not over Kace even though it's been a few years, and as he struggles to deal with that loss, he works on his tumultuous relationship with Iris. I've had a love/hate relationship with Iris throughout the Juliet world, and this book made me dislike her even more. She's incredibly nosy, and she is relentless in her desire for drama. Yet that is something that Sal is drawn to, and I found myself screaming at him to just walk away.
As Sal went around connecting with various woman, I found myself drawn to Emily, and while she isn't the exact fit for Sal, I thought with training, she could be. And am silently cheering for him to dump Iris once and for all, and focus on Emily.
This isn't to say that Sal is a saint either, because the way he collects women is comparable to that of any collector. But in his world, it's expected, at least of him. But his relationship with Iris is fueled by fire, and while she is still keeping secrets, she loves nothing more than to fan the fire. This wasn't an easy read, and it's a hefty read, coming in at over 500 pages, you are getting valuable, quality puzzle pieces and storyline essential to your Juliet experience. Very well done!
Sometimes I get tired of nagging, but other times, I'm all about it. And tonight, I'm all for nagging, because see, YOU REALLY NEED TO READ JULIET before taking on Salt Kissed Love. There, did my part to make it better for all! I'm not going to get into a lot of detail, instead, I'm going to just gush on with my dramatic emotions, as it's my favorite way to go. Plus, everyone has their own opinions, so just form your own by reading this story. See, while I LOVED Juliet, Salt Kissed Love blew it out of the water. Not just in addictive qualities, but the angst levels seemed to me to be taken up big notches. I will talk about the characters for a brief moment, because Sal & Iris drove me close to utter madness with their push & pull. They frustrated me so much that I wanted to eat my hair at times in order to save my kindle from slamming against the wall. And that right there is why the talented Kailee Reese Samuels is brilliant in my estimation, as I always get wrapped up in dramatic emotions while reading her stories. And that's all I'm saying before I give any spoiler douchery away. No matter what I type, everyone has to form their own opinions, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND you read this story & state your own opinion!
I guess I didn't get the memo about reading Juliet before Salt Kissed Love...and I really regret not. So first...if you are interested in this book...stop...go back to Juliet. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what was going on in the beginning and that I was missing something. I tend not to do a lot of research before starting a read...just so I have no expectations and can judge a book based on its own merit...so this was entirely my fault.
That being said...I think this series is a must read. Hit with a healthy cliff hanger at the end, reading the next book in this series is going to be a must. Closure is needed.
These characters have a lot of chemistry. Their relationships are riddled with angst and for me there were so many blurred lines.
This book is a long one. I have read a couple other books by this author and she really does love to write. Reading this book will take a while...bingeing can be done, but you are looking at an all day event. Reading time for me was just over 8 hours.
I'll just be over here going back to read Juliet, so I can be prepared for whatever is next...
Salt Kissed Love is an epic novel for the die-hard KRS fan. But if you haven't read Juliet by Kailee Reese Samuels, stop, turn around, and read Juliet FIRST! SKL is the continuing story of the love & hate relationship that Sal and Iris share together. Plus, I will mention there are quite a few added goodies and a new character or two that really steam up the plot line. We are finally gifted with an inside look into Salvatore's own mind with KRS's use of 1st person POV. Reading along with Sal and truly understanding his motivations for his sometimes erratic actions left this particular reader in awe. Sal is loving and caring, but he is a dangerous and meticulous character that never ceases to amaze me. Iris leapt off the page in her 1st person POV and surprised me even further. The plot twists in this novel had me cussing the author and wondering what could possibly come next! There are some triggers, although not in a trashy, graphic manner, and the sex scenes are delicious! I applaud Ms. Samuels for once again pulling me into her world and making me forget my own.
Lucas Salvatore Raniero, you have me so spun up! I love this man for all his flaws and imperfections, his ability to live life on his own terms, and his devotion to Iris. Sal is by no means an angel, but he's strong, he's loyal, and oh boy, is he hot! How can you not love this man?? He'll turn your every belief onto its head, he'll make you cross lines you'd never dream of crossing, and he'll keep doing it until the day he stops breathing (which would be never if I had my way)!
SKL evoked my every emotion for Sal and Iris! Love, hate, anger, happiness and sorrow, pain and betrayal, and more! After Juliet, I didn't know what to make of Sal's world. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but that's exactly what makes this character and his stories so amazing. Nothing is as it seems. I've laughed and cried, and yet I keep coming back for more! I've learned to just expect the unexpected, however that may come. That's what makes Sal and his stories so special.
A wedding on the horizon and everyone trying to make it back to Julliet. All agents in SIBYL on high alert. When Sal finds his Iris is going to be at the wedding Sal drops everything grabs his dog a heads for Julliet. Driving Sal's mind wanders to the death of his wife. He is more confused and haunted. When he arrives at his wifes grave the last person he expects is Iris, not sure if he is dreaming she finally gets through to him. What Iris tells him makes him more confused and very leery of everyone. When they make it to his home, loving making is on their minds but Sal worries for Iris saftey.Sals world is spinning and he's not sure whom to trust. What he once knew is now gone can he trust his Iris and will they be able to pick up the pieces and be together. Will they be able to solve everything in time before someone gets killed.
So much, too much at times. Very complex storyline with many layers. You think this is about the fetishes portrayed but it's so much more. There is a secret world that is covered over by the school and pretty much the entire little town of Sugargrove. You don't know who to trust or believe. Just when you think things are settled down and somewhat normal, wham down a different rabbit hole you go. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to save Sal from himself but right now his cycle of self torture may just come to an end. Iris and Sal have always been combustible and a messed up match made in total chaos but the ending has me freaking out a bit. "Bad guys don't always end up dead and good guys don't always end up heroes " some questions were answered and other questions arose, hope the next book comes soon to provide answers. More than words. ....
3.75 stars Well, this book had my emotions all over the place! We find out a hell of a lot about Iris and there's twists and turns all over the place. We have all our favorite characters but it's mainly staring Sal and Iris. You really do need to read Juliet before this book, and reading Bounce will be helpful as it follows the same timeline.
I didn't give it 4 or 5 stars mostly due to the flow of the story. It followed well, but there was just something that prohibited me from really getting into the story. I think it was all the back and forth of their relationship and I just wanted the story to move forward and find out more about Sal and Iris' motives- which we do. I was just impatient to find out more!
I'm very committed to this story and characters, and can't wait to see where Ms Samuels takes them from here.
Oh my god words cannot describe how much i devoured this book. I've read everyone of Kailee's books and loved every one of them.
This book made me cry so hard and so many emotions all going on at once but that's what makes a brilliant author someone who can draw you in and make you feel for the characters.
This story follows our favourite Dom Sal and his girl Iris and will warn you, you must read juliet before this book. The twists and turns in this book made my head spin and be warned you will shout, cry and get angry at some parts in this book but you will not be able to put it down.
Told from multiple POV's this book will draw you in and not let you go, another cracker of a story from Kailee and i can't wait to see what's coming next.
WOW! There are just so many layers of intrigue and suspense in this story that it sinks its claws into you and won’t ever let you go.
This is one unbelievable roller coaster ride that really messes with your emotions. I don’t know what characters to love and who to hate anymore. Each new chapter throws me off and I have absolutely no idea what is coming next. And that amazing ending WTF!
I love Sal and for the most part I love Iris but they are both so messed up! I found myself yelling over and over WHY WHY WHY - NO NO NO! Such amazingly twisted characters.
This is not a story for the faint of heart. This is not a mild and meek love story. This is one dark and twisted crazy ride. So hold on tight because it’s going to get really insane!
A well plotted and written storyline, so many characters, you’ll either love or hate. There is a little something for everyone, assassins, mafia, underground agents, masters and subs. The twists and turns have given me whiplash. Heed my warning “do not trust anyone.” It seems the members of Juliet Academy have many hidden agendas and connections. What you see isn’t always what you get, look deep below the murky water. Sal and Iris are a juxtaposition, like oil and water doesn’t mix, but like apple pie and ice cream are a perfect pair. The angst between them is off the charts and they are both guilty of being destructive and hurting each other. They have both endured the immeasurable pain of loss and it’s what brings them together.
What do I say except that Ms. Samuels has done it again! She has completely blown me away! I read Juliet, which you need to read to understand this book, and thought that book captivated me. Juliet has nothing on Salt Kissed Love. There are so many twists and turns, and many questions answered. This book is about the tumultuous relationship between Sal and Iris, and they definitely are an interesting pair. Many characters come into play in this book. I will not give anything away. You need to read this book! I'm still an emotional mess after reading the end. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Just Wow!! Freaking speechless! I'm beyond being blow away! I cannot believe you did that! I had my suspicions but....holy h*ll!! You did me in! Salt Kissed Love is dark and twisted with k*nk at its best that will send you on one wild and crazy ride. Your kindle will sizzle and other times you want to throw it across the room. When you think you know what will happen next KABAM! You are sent in another direction. I love the way she crafts her characters and sets up their twisted journey. Unbelievably! I would recommend reading Juliet first. I highly recommend anything written by Kailee Samuels.
Warning-this book deals with some dark content that might not be well suited for sensitive readers. Also, before reading this, you should read Juliet first. Now to my review.
Sally is back and better than ever! I love him and Iris, but there were points in the story that left me wanting to throttle them both! Just know that everyone in this book is having sex. Here some sex. There some sex. Everywhere some sex, sex! Along with all the hot and dirty sex, this story is filled with twists and turns! Be ready to take a journey filled with lies, secrets, angst, danger, and heartbreak.
I can’t encourage readers of darker romances enough to read this book, and also her book Juliet, a prequel to this. This author never disappoints and this book upholds her high standards to their finest.
I won’t go into the plot (read the blurb) but I do want to let you know about the fine quality of writing that Kailee Reese Samuels always delivers. The story is so good, the characters so real, that you forget that you’re reading a book and start to experience the words in a very real way. This book will take you to the heights and then drop you into the depths...that’s the writing talent of Ms. Samuels at work. Highly recommended.
