Susan Farley

Susan most recently served as the executive director at the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce, before returning to her roots in news. She has a long history in local news that began with writing for the local newspaper while she was still in high school and  continued in 1987 when she held the position of news director at WDEA/WWMJ radio stations. In 1990 she became the assignment editor at WABI-TV for six years. She left the station to run her own successful business while continuing to assist WABI in coverage of elections and other special events.

She returned to WABI full-time in 2003 to serve as the station’s Coastal Bureau chief for the next six years. She held the position of assistant news director at WVII ABC 7 and Fox 22 before being chosen to take over as news director in 2018. “This is the place I was born and raised. The people here have a special place in my heart and I have always felt a need to tell their stories, to give them the information that matters to them ,” said Farley. “I’m so proud to be working with the entire ABC 7/Fox 22 News team to bring quality news reporting to our viewers.”

Matt Colson

Position: Assistant News Director

Matt Colson joined the ABC 7 and FOX 22 News Team in 2022 as Assistant News Director. Matt is a local and was born in Bangor. He is a proud Brewer High School graduate that went on to University of Maine at Orono to receive a degree in Liberal Arts.

Matt has spent over 30 years in television news. He has worked as a Producer, Editor, Assignment Manager, News Gatherer, ENG Technician, Photographer, and now Assistant News Director for WVII and WFVX. Along the way, he has covered the biggest stories, from 9-11 to being at the finish line when the Boston Marathon bombs went off. He has covered Superbowls with the Patriots and World Series runs with the Red Sox. Hurricanes, Nor'easters and scorchers, Matt has covered everything with his camera.

Matt is an 8 time nominated, 2 time winner of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Award. He has also won awards from National Press Photographers Association, Associated Press and Maine Association of Broadcasters. "This is home, why wouldn't I want to share my passion for news with my community? The stories we cover matter to me. I'm from here, I live here and my family has been serving this community for over 60 years."

Beth Jones

Beth Jones joined the WVII news team in January of 2021 and was thrilled to return to her adopted home state of Maine to continue her news career.
Before coming to Bangor, Beth spent almost two years feature reporting and managing a newsroom in Burlington, Vermont. Before that, she worked in print and digital journalism, specializing in healthcare journalism with Himss Media. There, she served as managing editor of Healthcare Finance News for three years before departing for Vermont.
Beth first came to Maine in December of 2011 and worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WGME in Portland for three years.

Her first job in journalism was as a reporter in central New York State for YNN.
Beth holds a master’s degree from Syracuse University in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. Go Orange! She did her undergraduate work at Hofstra University, graduating in 2001 with bachelor’s degrees in both Dance and Broadcast Journalism. Beth is passionate about news, informing her community, and telling stories that matter to viewers.

Peter Dubois

He comes to Bangor after working as a morning anchor and reporter at WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Originally from the Seacoast New Hampshire area, Peter is thrilled to be back home in New England! Peter studied journalism at Keene State College, where he enjoyed serving as general manager of the school’s radio station, WKNH. During his free time, he enjoys skiing, creating music, cooking and spending time with his dog, Simba. He’s also a huge fan of Boston sports. Craig Colson

Craig is a Bangor native who started his broadcasting career as a news photographer in 1985. He began his job as a news reporter a few years later and has been covering the local news ever since. You might say it’s in his blood. Colson followed in the footsteps of his father who was a longtime newscaster and his brother who also works in “the family business” as a news photographer and later as an assistant news director.

Along with covering and anchoring the local news, Colson has also worked as news director for four local radio stations and spent several years as news director at WVII. After spending a few years getting his home improvement business off the ground, Colson is happy to return to the air again as co-anchor of Good Morning Maine.

Emma Smith

Emma Smith is a Maine native, born in Bar Harbor and raised in Bangor. She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, accepting the position at FOX 22 and ABC 7 while still finishing up her degree in the Spring of 2022.
Previously a waitress, with no news experience other than her education and an internship at this same station, she came ready to learn and try new things.

She loves the News industry for its range of possibilities - she’s always learning new things from the new people she’s lucky enough to meet. And she feels honored to be able to represent and provide timely information, for the community she knows and loves.
Emma is thankful for her opportunity to be a face on Good Morning Maine, and for all the people she meets and learns from along the way.

Jodi Hersey

Jodi Hersey, a local journalist with more than 15 years of experience in television, radio, and print, joined the WVII team in September 2021.
Jodi originally got her start in media at WABI-TV5 back in 1999 as a producer before becoming a reporter and fill-in anchor. She went on to become the news director at Cumulus radio in Brewer while serving as an adjunct faculty instructor at Husson University’s New England School of Communications in Bangor in 2008.
Jodi stepped away from news to go back to school to earn her Master’s Degree in Business in 2011.

For the past few years, she’s been writing feature articles for several Maine magazines including Bangor Metro, Maine Women Magazine, and Maine Seniors Magazine.
Jodi is a proud military wife and mom, as well as a huge fan of classic cars.

Devin Daigneault

Devin Daigneault joined the ABC 7 and Fox 22 News team August of 2022. Raised in Winslow, Maine, Devin is a Mainer through and through.  He attended the University of Maine at Orono, where he studied Journalism and Theater. David Ledford

David Ledford joined the ABC 7 and FOX 22 news team in October 2022. He transferred from the Rochester Institute of Technology to the University of Maine in 2020, as a student of Communication and Journalism, in order to complete his education in his home state. As a first-time reporter, David is passionate about local news and providing stories that are important to Mainers. Grace Blanchard

Grace Blanchard joined the ABC 7 and Fox 22 News team May of 2023.
Raised in Orrington, Maine, Grace has been a Maine resident her whole life.
She attended the University of Maine at Orono, where she studied Journalism. While at UMaine, Grace was part of Maine Campus Media, the school's student-run digital news platform, where she worked as a news contributor before taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief during her fourth-year.

Doug Banks

Doug Banks joined the ABC7 / FOX22 News team in May of 2023. A life-long Mainer, born in Portland and raised in Naples, Doug moved to Bangor in May 2023, after graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing from the University of Southern Maine.
During his time in school, he was a Staff Writer and News Editor for USM's school paper The Free Press, and was also a Freelancer for the local paper The Windham Eagle.

Away from the station, he enjoys playing golf, writing, and exploring what Bangor has to offer.

Cali Warren

Cali Warren is a student journalist and Mainer to her core. Raised in Waldo County, Cali wrote for The Republican Journal while still in high school and joined the WVII team as an intern in May of 2023 and began a part-time position in August.
She is working towards her Communication degree at the University of Maine while also serving as the Opinion Editor for their student-run news site, Maine Campus Media.

As a first-time reporter, Cali enjoys being a vessel to help other people tell their stories. When she's not in the station or in the field, you can find Cali writing, studying, or doing anything creative.

Corey Bouchard

Corey is currently the only dedicated, full time television reporter, in the state of Maine, working and living in Augusta, bringing premium, original content.

He is a Maine native and veteran, born and raised in Oxford Hills. After High School, Corey Joined the US Army as an Information Systems Specialist and Paratrooper.
After leaving the service, Corey attained his Bachelors Degree in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, and is currently working towards his Masters Degree in New Media Journalism.

Before coming to ABC 7 and FOX 22, Corey was the Senior Reporter and Fill-In Anchor for WAGM-TV in Presque Isle from July 2021-September 2023.

Geoff Weller

Position: Chief Meteorologist

Geoff joined Rockfleet Communications in November 2015 as a weekend meteorologist and reporter. In 2018, Geoff won the Broadcasters Association Award for Best Weathercast. A native of Grayslake, Illinois. Geoff is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Geoff supplemented his broadcast meteorology education with Mississippi State University.

Directly out of college, Geoff took a career detour. He entered into the business world working in several large cities all over the country, including stops in Chicago, Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta and Las Vegas. While his experiences in the business world proved successful, they took him away from his true passion.

In late 2013, Geoff decided it was time to follow his dreams. He quit his job, re-enrolled in school and picked up a full-time weather internship at WGBA-TV (NBC26) in Green Bay Wisconsin. This internship complemented his years-long internships back in Oklahoma.
Geoff loves the outdoors. While he is technically always working (observing the weather is a 24/7 job!), you can find him skiing, biking and boating. That is when he isn’t up in the air sharpening his skills as a licensed pilot and certified flight instructor.

Devin Biggs

Position: Morning Meteorologist

Devin joined the ABC 7 and Fox 22 weather team in October 2018 as the Weekend Meteorologist. In August of 2020, he took over the Weekday Morning Meteorologist role. He also works as a Morning Meteorologist for our sister station WJFW-TV Newswatch 12 in Rhinelander, WI.

Devin attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, where he graduated with a bachelor’s of science in meteorology and a minor in broadcasting. He got his first experience in live TV when he interned for NBC affiliate, WAND-TV 17 in Decatur, Illinois, in the summer of 2015. Devin’s experience grew when he was recruited to be the weather anchor for NEWS3, the on-campus TV station from January 2016 until he graduated. Additionally, Devin created forecasts for Tri-States Public Radio throughout his college years.

Devin is proud to call himself the No. 1 Leatherneck fan for Western Illinois University. On days they play, especially in football and basketball, you can expect Devin to be cheering his alma mater. An avid sports fan, he also cheers for the Wisconsin Badgers, Chicago NHL hockey, St. Louis Cardinals, and Chicago Bears.

Konrad Supinski

Position: Meteorologist

Konrad joined the WVII ABC 7 FOX 22 team as a meteorologist in February 2022.
He was born in Poland and moved to the United States when he was 5. He speaks both English and Polish, which helps in communication with the community.
Konrad also serves in the Army National Guard and has been promoted to sergeant. He received the Army Achievement Medal in 2019 because of his physical and leadership skills in the Army National Guard.

He lived in Staten Island, NY for 14 years before moving to the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Konrad’s passion for weather started when he was a young child after watching the effects of Hurricane Katrina devastating the Gulf Coast. His passion for weather continued into his college career at Western Illinois University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology. Konrad was the weather anchor for News 3 in Macomb, Illinois before joining the WVII ABC 7 FOX 22 team.

Besides being a meteorologist on TV, Konrad is a very athletic individual. He loves to play sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. He is adventurous and loves the outdoors any time of year.

Chase Roepenack

Position: Meteorologist

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chase grew up in Pekin, Illinois.
Surrounded by cornfields, Chase had excellent visuals on approaching thunderstorms. His passion for meteorology started early.
The release of the movie Twister sealed his future in meteorology.

After High School in Michigan, Chase enrolled in the Atmospheric Science program at Western Illinois University. There, Chase chased 5 tornadoes including an EF4 in Winterset, Iowa in 2022.
During his junior and senior years, Chase supplemented his studies by interning with WJFW in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Chase graduated WIU in the spring of 2024.

After graduation, Chase joined the WVII meteorology team full time in June of 2024. In his free time, you can find Chase fishing. Chase takes fishing seriously and will drop anything and everything for the elusive 50” Muskie.

Tyler Krusz

Position: Sports Director

Tyler Krusz joined the ABC7 and Fox 22 team in October of 2021 and is looking forward to telling all of our local athletes’ stories!
Tyler, a native Rhode Islander, graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2020 with degrees in Journalism and Political Science. During his time there, he enjoyed covering all of the D1 sports the University had to offer, including a few football games against the University of Maine!

Tyler worked with the school’s radio station and newspaper, while interning with sports radio host Andy Gresh and the sports department at Fox Providence. After college, Tyler worked as a news anchor and a sports anchor for WBKB11 News in Alpena, Michigan and is excited to come back to New England — just hours away from his family.

When he’s not talking about sports, Tyler enjoys golfing and playing softball (because his baseball days have passed). He also loves to fish, cook, and spend time outdoors any way he can.

Jack Webb

Jack Webb joined the ABC 7 and Fox 22 team in July of 2024.

Born and raised in Arundel and a 2023 graduate of the University of Maine, Jack proudly wears his love for Vacationland on his sleeve.

He wore it on his chest, too. Jack played offensive line on the university's Division l football team during his time at UMaine, and being able to represent his home state is something he will always cherish.
His deeply rooted passion for high school and college athletics in the state, shows through his coverage.
