Sony’s TV service PlayStation Vue is now available as an app on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. It will be available on Chromecast soon. Sony is also lowering prices.
PlayStation Vue on more devices
Sony wants to sell you a better TV channel experience with PlayStation Vue - at least if you live New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco Bay Area or Miami.
The internet-based TV service is still not available to everyone but if you live in one of the above-mentioned markets you can now watch PlayStation Vue on PS4, PS3, Amazon Fire TV (and Stick) , iPhone and iPad. Support for Chromecast is “coming soon”. There is, strangely, no support for Android.
Sony is also lowering the prices for PlayStation Vue’s Core and Elite packages. Core is now available for $54.99 (from $59.99) and Elite is now available for $64.99 (from $69.99).
