After getting dumped on Christmas day, high school boy and hopeless romantic Natsuki Hashiba crosses paths with Anna, an aloof girl in a Santa outfit passing out tissues. For him it's love at first sight, for her… not so much. With help from his best friends - a playboy, an otaku, and a nice guy with a sadistic streak - Natsuki sets out to win Anna's heart and heal his own heartbreak along the way. (FUNimation)

Rainbow Days strikes me as an example of the ordinary romantic life of high school students. We have got a group of four guys with different characters, one girl who the shy one tries to pick up even though they are not very good at it, and a couple of other girls to keep the other guys from getting left out in the cold. I quite like the love story, even though Natsuki's naivety and shyness are blatant at times (did he really have a girlfriend before?). The humor is not amazing, even though some scenes entertained me. Well, this is just an average anime series, neither extremely pleasing nor offensive. 5/10. ()
