Prison

The psychopathic boss Lane Smith, whose nerves are shot and rolls his eyes in a style reminiscent of Samuel L. Jackson, faces off against the smooth Viggo, for whom you bend down in the prison showers to pick up soap with eager anticipation. It could have been a duel in the style of Cool Hand Luke if it weren't for the evil spirit with blue lights and the lady who managed to admire He-Man's oiled nipples that year. The intro with the green mile leading to the production of cracklings in the gas chamber (!) sets the tone, and then we just watch something that is often unintentionally funny but innocently entertains with its obscurity. Not even Doctor Peter Venkman could tame that ectoplasmic convict with a degree in electrical engineering! (29.11.2021)
