Kazuma is a Contractor of the Wind, a cool customer with the power to unleash a whirlwind of terror on his enemies. Ayano is a smoking-hot mistress of the Fire Arts who's got a nasty habit of dialing up the heat in the thick of battle. To say they don't get along would be an understatement, but Fire and Wind are about to get a crash course in teamwork. A sinister website known as Pandemonium is unleashing powered-up magic junkies and soul-devouring demons on the unsuspecting citizens of Tokyo. (officiële tekst van distribiteur)

Okay, it's not a pure 4 stars, but I thought it really had something. Sure, it's all so heavily done, all the relationships and bonds that come up – it's just enhanced with an added magical aspect – but I'm a bit sorry about the rating, so... I don't think it deserves a "garbage" rating, no matter how clichéd it is. So there you go. I watched it in one go and only got "bored" about halfway through, which is a pretty good result when you've been watching the same faces over and over for hours... Plus, I think it was the second to last episode I really liked. I've seen a lot worse anime. And I wouldn't be at all opposed to a shorter sequel – maybe in the form of a movie or an OVA, I'd like to see where he faced at least a little bit of a challenge... I mean differently than usual :-D Summary: Sure, it's not a perfect anime, but I had a lot of fun, and that's the point, right? ()
