A newbie teacher Okano in a primary school is troubled over how to handle problems such as angry parents, bullying and domestic violence affecting his students and tries to extend a helping hand to them. On the other hand, Masami is a mother who cannot stop herself from hurting her own three-year-old daughter. An aged woman Akiko is suffering from mild dementia.
