Mitsuo, Sakura and Hiroshi's young son, has a substitute teacher (Fumi Dan) whose mother (Machiko Kyo of Rashomon fame) was a childhood friend of Tora-san's. When the teacher reveals that her widow mother is terminally ill, Tora-san visits her and boosts her spirits. The 18th film of the long-running "Tora-san" film series. (Shochiku)
