Orson Welles occasionally demonstrates his genius, but unfortunately, only occasionally. Above all, the ending is absolutely captivating, as well as the work with the actors. Of course, this is a film about his character, but equally about the character portrayed by Rita Hayworth. Under his direction, she delivers a stellar performance, perhaps one of her best. She's one of the most terrifying femme fatales.
